I first discovered shuffling through hardstyle, it would of been around 2009 when i was 11.
I was obsessed with techno as a kid but the bass just didnt seem hard enough and that was until i found hardstyle. From there my knowledge of shuffling grew immensely over the next year or so discovering people like yourself and the legendary shuffle groups HSK and HSA.
I practised almost every day for a year which was a struggle as i had no friends who were into it like i was so all my knowledge came from watching (and very slowely) try to mirror the moves and figure out how they would do them. I still shuffle to this day and couldnt be happier on the long progression and effort that it took
some things such as love and dance, can't be taught like math.. i guess ppl just watch and feel, and do it..
I started shuffling pretty late in about 2013 as I did jump and cwalk during the 08-11 era but learnt melbourne shuffle watching ppl at raves and going to shuffle meets. continual practice and regular events is what made it really stick.
my question to you; why was moonboy such an og influence to so many despite young age? and
how do you stay inspired to find new moves after so long?
@@trainerskitz great question. It was because he moved in such a way that looked so unnatural yet so natural at the same time. He was very good which is why he was an inspiration to many! In regards to being able to find new moves, you have to push yourself to move in ways that no one has done before. You must Strip your fear of being judged in order to explore new ways to move, only then will you stand out amongst the rest and lastly, in order to stay inspired you have to have a love to grow
What about camera shy ppl 😊
Ive Seen the 2007 compilation. Watched it a billion Times. "Thats so cool they have super Powers i want super Powers too" watched it frame by frame for weeks and tried to imitate. Then Tutorials too. I think there were and are great ones at least when I started about 2009/10. Just Hidden with less views
@@K1ck1992 that'll be something you can work to overcome! I found it challenging to even start this 🤣
Awesome project idea! It will be cool to get insight from others with your questions
