After playing this it is clear how the allies could lose. The Gallipoli Peninsula is a hard piece of land to take. I believe a British soldier mentioning that their maps of the region are from the Crimean War, showing how unprepared the allies were for the terrain and the fierce Ottoman resistance.
We also landed at the wrong beach lol

Shame they didn’t change the voices for the ANZAC soldiers. I understand not using the term since it’s federally protected (AUS law), but at least have the Aussie and Kiwi accents.

I guess they just didn't want to make new voice lines for all soldiers and just focused on getting the voices for Operations, seeing that with the french and russian army, the french and russian voice overs have already been in the game (localization ya know)

@@SashaMasonVR Russian local is also a bit spoiled. For example, if you play in the Revolution, pointing on the enemy soldiers sounds like he's pointing on Germans ("look, a German scout!") while it's either White or Red in truth.

As defender you can use the Anti-Naval canons, you need a plane, you jump of near the canon and despite the message "return to the combat area, you can use the canon
God the end of round music is why I love BF1 so much, that with the chaos ensuing in the background it just gives me goosebumps

Because technically, those maps aren't unbalanced. They are terrible for both sides, but especially Locker doesn't favor one side over another.
The other maps are well balenced by the fact thst there is no terrain advantage, this on the other hand is an offencive nightmer and a meat grinder clusterfuck

I don't know why, but I've completed this operation and there's an achievement that says if you complete the Gallipoli operation, you get 50 gamescore. However, I never got it. What do I do then? Plz help!

Holy fuck, first time I played archi babba it was an absolute chaotic bloodbath. It was so full of fury, endless explosions, men dying, streams of bullets, and bayonet charges. I was on the ANZAC team and it was such a hard fight, at the near end we finally managed to capture the last objective. Probably the most fun match I ever played.
I am so dissapointed that they didn't make the australian and new zealand army corp (anzac) faction for the gallipoli multiplayer because they did so much during the war and actually on the western front a lot of anzac soldiers were WAY more effective in trench raiding and trench defending that the british kept deploying them instead of their own faction's troops
Oath bro, us Kiwis and Aussies have been feared throughout the 20th and 21st centuries for our fighting ability. Although I love this game, I'm so annoyed they didn't have an ANZAC faction with Aussie and Kiwi accents and shit. Would've been so sick

A map like this that is so unbalanced would be really cool if the attackers had unlimited spawns and the defenders only had 250, 3 battalions, but are really dug in so it is hard to kill the defenders. Defenders win by defending for either time limit or by score limit by keeping all the objectives secure.Once attackers secure an objective it can not be retaken by the defenders. It would be really cool for a normandy map if they make a WW2 game as well.

That's a bug where you get placed in the opposite team after the cutscene.
I re downloaded this game just so I can buy this dlc but the gameplay just doesn't click for me and I really wanna enjoy this game like I did with bf4!!!!

MrPuggyWins No, the battle was mostly fought by the British Empire. ANZAC cove was mostly fought by the ANZAC. Cape Helles was a British landing with French support.

The Cape Helles map Operations is so fucked.They have it easy for the attackers,or the Combined Forces,because they start out with a Destroyer,which seems to be the main problem.The destroyer can travel along the Attackers on land.And I know that the Defenders,or the ottomans,have 2 large cannons,but almost every time i play cape helles,noobs take control of the cannons.This is why I hate Cape Helles on OperationsSorry for the long post.

I guess that’s the idea. The British have to gain momentum in order to smash through the defense at the beaches. But also, I will point out that it takes a coordinated defense to stop that momentum as well. In this case, the defenders didn’t have that. They were overextending when they should have been retreating, and they were uncoordinated when trying to hold the points down.

This map is terribly unbalanced and unenjoyable for both sides. The British never are able to win and just constantly die. But when the British get the dreadnaught it ends up being a game of “who can dodge the dreadnaught’s shells” for the ottomans. You can’t kill it in operations due to the ottomans getting no boats and the torpedo bombers get shot down by the destroyer, which in itself shouldn’t be even in the map. The British still can’t win and it ends up with a victory for the ottomans. I expect this map to become the most unpopular map on Bf1. At lest suez gives both sides an equal chance of getting the upper hand.

This, die immediately after each spawn. should be called respawn simulater. Watching the movie Gallipoli is more interactive than this motherfucking bullshit.

What Bullshit is this game? :O I didn´t see even 1 lore friendly-historically correct weapon. Many from the weapons showed in this video in this BF 1 game NEVER even existed at all and definitively NOT in that time period. Who created this stupidity?
