I'm very proud to say that the high school in our little town was the first in the nation to allow teachers and staff to take a course, gets the ccws, and carry while schools in. Any nut job that attacks that school is in big trouble.
Hell, as a white 53 year old, I'll take anyone shooting and will teach anyone gun safety. I actually think that teaching gun safety in school (which used to be done 30+ years ago) would eliminate a small part of our countries gun problem. I help coach the fastest growing high school youth sport here in MN (trap shooting) and can say that the more you know, the safer you are and (I think) the less likely one is to use a gun inappropriately, especially as you become more immersed into the law abiding gun culture we have. As for Dave Chappelle, I disagree with some of his stuff but, think he is amazingly funny, even the stuff I disagree with.
