John gave Hank that My Little Pony lunchbox as a wedding gift. It was filled with all of the money he had stolen from Hank over the years. This money was in one dollar bills so that Hank could enjoy counting them. John said in his speech that he didn't have problem with stealing from Hank, but as of that day he would also be stealing from Katherine, and he had a problem with stealing from Katherine. I just thought that was really jokes.

July 26, 2007 was my 31st birthday. I am an *old* Nerdfighter. Although only a year older than John.

I was 2 years and a few months old when this video came out. I've been a nerdfighter for almost a year now although I've known about their existence for a long time. I read tfios when I was 12 and hank taught me chemistry. The weird thing is even though I knew hank had a brother named john with whom he had a channel but I realised it later that this john green is the same john green who wrote tfios. I became a nerdfighter after watching kurzgesagt's animation of the Anthropocene reviewed after which I discovered the podcast and then I read the book and then finally I started watching this channel.
I was 34, so I win, I am the old nerdfighter

Andrew Winn Hank doesn't want babies. At least that's what he said earlier in 2007.

In 2007, I watched Accio Deathly Hallows when it was featured on the front page of TH-cam. It was awesome, and I thought nothing else of it.
6 years later, I discovered Nerdfighteria and that Hank Green WAS that person who sang Accio Deathly Hallows. That was a good day.
This just showed up in my feed today. So much fun re-watching it :)

After I saw your featured video yesterday and found out about your little project, I actually ended up watching ALL your videos...and I mean ALL, it took me all day, but it was well worth it. It’s so crazy to be watching this all develop 16 years later, but I needed something uplifting and I really been enjoying this channel as a way to escape our crazy reality we are in right now in 2023
I wish I had become a nerdfighter at the beginning of all of this instead of sometime last spring.
And yes, watching these old videos is how I spend my weekend.

I just finished watching the Brotherhood 2.0 video that coincided with July 26th, 2007. Here are some things I noticed in this video, as well as my thoughts on the content:
1. Shown at 0:11--that's the Harry Potter theme!
2. Said starting at 1:09--and now you need way more views that that to get on the home page, unfortunately...
3. TH-cam comments are wierd.

The closest I got to being featured in the old days, was having a video that I made a video response to featured. I got a hate comment every hour for the next three days. It was like having the downside of being featured, without the upside of being featured, eg. being featured.

Well I like the way you pronounced "Accio." I've never actually read a Harry Potter book myself because my mother has read all the books out loud to my family several times, that's just how we do it. And she always pronounced it AK-see-oh, so that will forever be the correct way to me. By the way, you and John are so jokes! ; )
