  • In this episode, we'll show you how to plan and complete a Linear Mission. This is best used for missions completed above a narrow strip of land.
In this video, we will go through the mandatory pre-flight checklist that should be completed before one's first flight using DJI Pilo 2. By the end of this video, you will know how to check all the vital information such as flight mode, battery level, possible controller issues, and more. In addition, you'll know how to set parameters such as return-to-home altitude, out-out-control action, maximum altitude/flight distance, and more.
About the DJI Pilot 2 Training Course:
This learning series was designed for users who are new to the DJI Matrice 300 RTK or the Matrice 30 Series. By the end of the series, you will have a basic understanding of how DJI Pilot 2 works, good practices, and ideal workflows beneficial to your next industrial mission.
    Note:
The Matrice 30T was used as the demo unit throughout the series. If you are using the Matrice 300 RTK, please note that there could be a few differences due to the controller and 3rd party payloads. Most of the functions will be covered in this learning series and you may refer to the User Manual for a complete learning experience. Each solution's User Manual is available on www.dji.com

In the future will it be possible to create "Mapping", "Oblique" and "Linear Flight" flight tasks from Live Mission Recording of Dji FlightHub2?

Not currently planned. Could fly the drone to a location and then adjust your mission planning boundaries based on the drones location on the map if needed.

Hello DJI, Once again you did not give us controls over the gimbal function for this mission type. Not everyone maps at 90 degrees! Please stop limiting the controls of the aircraft so we can get our jobs done for our clients. Thank you

There is a major problem with Pilot 2, It turns out that the Mavic 3E does not support the D-RTK 2 in mode 3, in Pilot 2, so you can't establish ground control points, what a conn. Don't buy the Mavic 3E with the D-RTK 2 for mapping, waste of money.

indeed. And 5 months later: nada...still can't. I mean, the M3E replaced the P4 RTK, and that old drone and flight software supported the DRTK-2 as a rover. That's DJI: soooooo good, and also soooooo bad, all at the same time
