I think Osborne was misled by Russel concerning the percentage, and therefore Derron is right when he said they were unreasonable and don't care about the athlete.

I am prepared to say that the coach made a very stupid mistake. What is Miss Obourne’s accolades? I wonder what is her network as a coach looking like. This was the perfect opportunity for coach Osbourne to really make a name for herself and then she probably could demand wayyyyy more than $100,000,000 from the athletes to come. Of course this deal was one that was mutually beneficial to both parties. ETH I suppose is in a position where she doesn’t even have to run another race and still live comfortably for the rest of her life. The coach I believe needed Elaine way more than Elaine needed her. Mr Herrah seems to be the one with the brain and ETH is definitely the one with the talent so they compliment each other well.
The 100 million is a garbage statement, her husband just stated that the coach and Elaine agreed on the 15% but he the husband said that if you give 15% that would be breach of contract and it would be easy to calculate how much Elaine makes. Some years ago we had a story about the farmer who killed the goose that laid the golden. This is exactly what was happening with the double double champion Elaine!! Every one trying to take from her. I must say I was wrong as I was one who judged her husband, but I stand corrected. He is right, watch her back!! I truly believe that there was an agenda at work and even Ms Osborne was played and does not even realize!! Many persons were worried about Elaine coming back to form and they saw what Ms Osbourne was about to do, so that person that she got to negotiate for her and advised her know that even if Elaine agreed, her husband would not!! Ms Osbourne was not looking out for her best interest, just imagine if she was the coach of Elaine when she accomplish the treble double!! Shelly's been very successful since cutting ties with MVP, Elaine can do the same, find another competent coach who doesn't have ulterior motives...

I have total respect for Derron after listeneing to this interview. On the other hand based on the information that has been brought forward to the table re the negotiation, it is quite obvious Shanikie was incapable of making a deal by herself and therefore brought in someone whom she trusted but has failed her. He ruined a coaching relationship with Shanikie and Elaine which would have been a win win for both parties moving forward as the world would be seeing Shanikie as an elite track coach. I am just wondering if the intention of Mr. Russel was deliberate to end Shanikie's coaching relationship with Elaine , knowing Shanikie is not very knowlegeable on these deals so he played with her ignorance. Was there any jealousy intent there? Just food for thought.

100M for someone who hasn’t prove herself. Elaine and her team made the right choice. Me OS should have negotiated, train Elaine, make a name for herself and then ask for what she want. Why are you trying to treat an injury without a coach or a workout plan? It's like you're trying to study a subject without a syllabus or a tutor. I do not think Elaine's improvement last season was solely up to Ms Osbourne . I believe recovery from injury had more to do with her improvement than Ms Osbourne's coaches
Now this seems for sure that more dialogue is needed to resolve the situation for the benefit of both parties . Mr Herat was and is correct but Ms Osbourne is just trying to cement her financial arrangement so therefore I think both parties should get back around the table to communicate what is beneficial for both parties and definitely come to a resolution. Some of you holding Darron up to the sky. He was instrumental in her downward spiral. If you listened to his comment, he said Ms. Osbourne doesn't know anything about medical stuff and he has all the equipment and machine for that. Elaine needed to see an experienced and licensed sports medical doctor. They didn't want to spend the money for medical bills.

There is a high school coach name Corey Bennett. He did first class work with Hydel High Girls track team. I believe they say he is now coaching at Calabar possibly there could be a link up with the New Era Track Club. I don't know him but after watching Champs 2023 with those Hydel Girls like an Alana Reid. I am a fan!!! ETH also needs a strong competitor to run against during training, who will push her to run fast. Not necessarily a female. I can only think of one male name at this time, Usain Bolt.

Derron is not qualified to negotiate either. Money is too much of a motivator for all here. Elaine needs more than an elite coach, she needs a body mechanic to keep her healthy. Health is her real issue. She needs Franno. She needs to light a candle and sing a Sankey. Money will be irrelevant if she can pull even a third 100m gold and a 10.48s run!
She cannot be entitled to a large sum of money without proving her worth. She needs to take the base pay and negotiate a bonus as ETH gets the goal. This would prove that she is worthy of the money being asked for.

100M for someone who hasn’t prove herself. Elaine and her team made the right choice. Me OS should have negotiated, train Elaine, make a name for herself and then ask for what she want. If Elaine does good more athletes would be incline to want to train with her camp increasing Ms Os money even more.

I do not think Elaine's improvement last season was solely up to Ms Osbourne . I believe recovery from injury had more to do with her improvement than Ms Osbourne's coaches
Now this seems for sure that more dialogue is needed to resolve the situation for the benefit of both parties . Mr Herat was and is correct but Ms Osbourne is just trying to cement her financial arrangement so therefore I think both parties should get back around the table to communicate what is beneficial for both parties and definitely come to a resolution. If you listened to his comment, he said Ms. Osbourne doesn't know anything about medical stuff and he has all the equipment and machine for that. I believe they say he is now coaching at Calabar possibly there could be a link up with the New Era Track Club. I don't know him but after watching Champs 2023 with those Hydel Girls like an Alana Reid. I am a fan!!! ETH also needs a strong competitor to run against during training, who will push her to run fast. Not necessarily a female. I can only think of one male name at this time, Usain Bolt.
