Dude always love your vids! you are the Charvel showman! Anytime I want to see a particular model in action I know which channel to go to see how it sounds or just to hear an emotion jam while at work. I envy your collection and your playing style! great job bro
You make those pickups sound fine ... but a bit more buttery pickups wouldn't hurt with that combo. Guitar looks awesome. It's all personal preference with tone, but I feel like those SD pickups are on the super hot side. Could be Amping as well?
Thank you! The Full Shred in the bridge can be on the "screechy" side. Plus I have another DK24 with the same combo so this one will probably get something to give it a little something different from the other one.
Thanks! Everything on here is my first gen Axe FX 3. I don't have any pedals and I don't use a DAW or plugins for these. I run the mixer output right to the camera so that's why the mix between the guitar and the backing track can be a little off sometimes. Can't change it after the fact like with a DAW.
@@dmnguitarist thanks for the reply, do you share any presets on the forums or axe exchange? Killer tone excellent with the backing track. I’m getting more into 80’s solos ect and this sounds so good. Take care.
@@czorr1997 I put one preset one Axe Change a long time ago but the firmware updates haven't been kind to it. Sounds like shit now and the way I had the controllers setup always seemed to cause problems for people anyway. You can use the factory Petrucci Rig preset on the Learning To Lead scene to get in the ballpark of this type of tone and tweak it from there though. I use a modified version of that preset on some of these.
