This deck gets an interesting new option in a few weeks: In the coming shrouded fable set there's a stadium that lets you put a card from your hand on top of your deck once per turn, letting you guarantee hitting an energy from your own deck. Unfortunately it's competing with Magma basin for the stadium slot, and you opponent can also in theory use it to guarantee that they won't have an energy on top of their deck unless you can make them draw/shuffle (still a net plus for you, since it costs them a card from their hand). Probably won't do too much to change its viability, but it's worth testing
Nice, never tried it with armarouge, seems like a good way to deal with Magcargo's insane costs. I've seen another build that runs the Snack Seek Morpeko (look at the top card of your deck and you may discard it) which is nice and can help increase your chances of discarding one of your own fire energies to more consistently hit 280 on your side. Might be hard to fit in with Bib/Skwovet/Armarouge tho, so would definitely need some tweaks. Anyway, great video and I think there might be some support for this in the next set, so might see more play in the future!
Your evil laugh is awesome. I think you had game with rad zard against the gardi just promote the Skwovet retreat into zard and transfer the energy. Wish the energy to attack was one less and this deck would be awesome, it loses to easily to some other decks like chien pao
