¿Cuándo pusiste la semilla de la ceiba pentandra en el agua fue a temperatura ambiente? ¿O con agua caliente? Y después de los 5 días cuando la semilla estuvo tapada dentro de un recipiente, vi que estaba en la sombra antes que germinara, ¿no es así? Fantástico vídeo!!! ¡Me gustó mucho! ¡Gran trabajo! No tenía ni idea de que germinaran tan rápido las semillas de ceiba pentandra y que fuera tan sencillo hacerlo!!!! Gracias!
Amazing video, short but informative with 2 month lifecycle of this beautiful specie. I've got seeds of Ceibe speciosa which is from the same family, but not much info about its germination. I only wonder about the temperature. Is about 20C enough or some bottom heat will help?
That will be my correction for next video, and i really appreciate that, the temperature of germinating seed its about 21-27 C (adobt the origin their environment)
@@EdwardLou_ I germinated my seeds on the heat mat (can't say what was the temperature exactly), and the very next day 4 seeds "exploaded" releasing some jelly substance. I'm not sure if they germinated or maybe the temperature was just too hot and they cooked? 🤣😂 Can you please check you inbox, I've sent you email😃
It's grows as weeds here in west Africa, I killed many little ones just because they disturb our Cocoa farm...I never knew the adult ones bears 'cotton', we have alot in our forest where we farm cash crops

agua a temperatura normal adaptada al hábitat del árbol, recomiendo la germinación a la sombra gracias por la corrección, feliz plantación

have you tried making a bonsai out of Kapok? just wondering if a baby, around 1.5 years old kapok survives cutting its main branch.

I reccomend you watch Nigel Saunders, he made a literal bonsai forest with these trees and I am going to do the same.(I already bought the seeds)

@@JuliaMaiboroda it is commonly happen, the bacteria produce "jell like" and sometimes they eat the seed cotiledons, makes the seed won't grow
