Yeah, that plan didn't last long haha. I saw that CR, looks pretty clean. I think I'm going to paint all of my other ones. Even just blacking it out makes it look 10x better.
I have a 1998 CR250 and had the exact same problem with the swing arm... Totally roached. I didn't feel like trying to have it fixed so I got a replacement swing arm on eBay for about $140. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I wouldn't trust JB weld on a part like that. It takes a lot of abuse. Cheers

Honestly this hurts my soul but you could jb weld over the swing arm hole and throw on a heavy duty chain slider over the top of it to cover it up.
Yeah, I couldn't do that as a permanent fix. It would probably work if you wanted to go the budget route though.
Your $400 maintenance job turned into a whole lot more lol. Looking forward to the build videos.
