I think this Dior interpretation of pastel is so modern ! Formula being thin, the fact that they are all shimmery, that there is no super dark shade. I really love it !! Looks so stunning !!!!!
The new PT Fair lip liner is exactly what I was hoping the original would be, which was orange on me. Glad I didn't get the fair lipstick though as is too peach. As for TF, I'll stick to my Prada foundation which I love.

I was watching another video on the Dior Quint and the creator said it wasn’t the new formula, it is a baked gelee formula, which is probably why they pick up better than the other quints that are the new formulation.
Good morning. The Dior palette is pretty but for the most part seems repetitive. The lilac and mint green shades are what drew me in but not enough to purchase it. Addiction Tokyo has a single shadow in a mint green that may be a good alternative for the green in the Dior palette and want the Cle de Peau lilac single. And have to say I’m a little frustrated with Dior launching only a few products at a time…not sure if it is a supply issue or what… I truly appreciate all the comparisons, it is so helpful! The CT Pillowtalk in Fair i wanted to try, but i doubt now, despite the fact that makeup in general swatches a hint warmer on your skin than on my skin, i think for the simple fact that i have light complexion, not fair. The colour of that lip pencil from CT is really good! Is it still dry, or is it that i really hate all lip pencils Lexi, i think the last option. That pencil and the new fair lipstick, a maybe, but that cooler shade, red carpet i believe, i like that one much more! Very good comparsions, like always!!!! A lipgloss that hurts my lips? For world peace maybe, no, no, no. The lip pencil is fairly creamy going on but it sets. It's definitely not dry feeling though. Sadie is doing okay. She doesn't seem to like the construction noise next door but unfortunately we have about a year and a half of it to go so hopefully she gets used to it. I think her issues last week were more weather related thankfully. Right now she is sleeping at my feet.

I just checked my CT lip cheat pencil. I am in the UK and my pencil is made in Germany. Makes me wonder if the ingredients are the same? I don't like the pillow talk fair lipstick by itself, as it is way too pale even for me! But it makes a great topper for lipsticks that are too dark

I hope they make a newer formula for the radiance foundation with blurring effects. I ordered both Dior palettes this weekend and cant wait to try them!
I haven't tried the new primer but I think it looks pretty. I heard it is pretty shimmery though so just a heads up. I hpe you love the Dior palettes. I'm kind of wishing I had purchased the other one too but at this point, I'm over my budget, lol.

I own the Chantecaille gel foundation and Chanel Sublimage L'essence de Teint Serum foundation and the lightest shades I can use but darken me a bit which actually dulls me down. My best looking match is the Dior Forever Skinglow Cushion in 00N
No Chanel Delices comparison for that eye palette? I'm surprised. But the Dior is sold out now, so not an issue. I want to thank you for your recommendation for Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin in Universal. It really works! I just lightly swipe my finger over the top of the product, tap, tap, tap on nose, chin and forehead, and it mattifies all day. Better than any powder I have and no powdery look or feel. I tested it on bare skin so far. But perfect for on top of a Skin Tint in summer. Also thanks for comparing the 90s Pink to Rose to Fame,. I was looking for a lipstick that color and like the formula. I just jumped over to Sephora to get it on sale. One last question: how do you organize your lipsticks and glosses? You have such great organization ideas and I love every product, like those nail polish organizers, that you use. Bullet lipsticks aren't a problem. My liquid lipsticks and glosses all just end up in a box then I'm digging whenever I need one of them. Have you solved that problem for yourself? Please share if you have. Thanks for the video! 💚

I'm trying to reorganize everything but I keep most of my lipsticks in skinny drawers and some with the labels up in box lids or I have a couple of stands. I use box lids to keep my glosses and stuff separated and organized. I like to arrange things by brand and type. There are some skinny acrylic drawers on muji that I'm looking at for brush storage and possibly lip glosses.
@@LexiJong For bullet lipsticks I use the acrylic lipstick organizers from The Container Store. It keeps those separate, so magnets don't attach to each other, and I can store them upside down, so I can read color names on the bottom. I have them grouped by brand, and have the organizers in their rattan bins. But my lip glosses are in an old, soft sided, rollup storage container. It isn't the worst, but not the best either. So I wondered if you had a magical storage hack. Sometimes you do. Good luck with your chaos. My whole week last week was insane. I'm blaming the eclipse.😊
Are you able to get the bigger lipstick cases in them? I'm having a hard time finding some organizers to fit them. I'll let you know when I find a better method.
@@LexiJong If you are talking Guerlain, then no. Those have to go in drawers. But the acrylic cases I have will fit Burberry, La Bouche Rouge, Gucci, Natasha Denona, Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Bobbi Brown, and Charlotte Tilbury, off the top of my head. They also sell acrylic boxes with drawers. The ones I have they don't sell anymore. But they have an 8"x8" three drawer version that you could put lipsticks and other items in. I like acrylic because I can see what I have.

I’ll have to see what’s out there! I got the PT fair lip pencil and I love the shade. I wish I’d skipped the lipstick, though. Its meh. I’m DEFINITELY skipping the Charlotte plumping gloss. I do not do plumping and that one looks so irritating! I think I’m passing on the Dior quint. It’s pretty, but I think I’ve got all of those shades in luxury formulas I already like. I do not understand why companies are using capsaicin in glosses. I don’t love my lip lines but I like the thought of an ER visit any less. The Dior palette is a bit of a bummer, as I was hoping it would be just a touch more vibrant. I’m guessing it would be great in the old formula.
I am SO glad I was able to sample the TF foundation before buying it. I thought it was just my skin (combo/oily) or skincare, or climate, but as soon as you put it on I was like !!! That’s exactly how it looked on me!! Clingy to every micro-dry-patch that I didn’t even know I had! It looked beautiful and soft freshly applied from a distance. But any step closer and you could SEE all the texture on my skin, which again, I didn’t even know I had. And it just went downhill from there. Terrible wear, it oxidized, it looked flaky, dry, but at the same time oily, like dirty oily. I mean, yes I guess you can try to work with it by prepping your skin furthermore but why??? It’s $150. I shouldn’t have to work so hard for it. It should do it FOR me! Lol I literally washed it off every time I wore it. Hard pass!

I have the same issue with the Charlotte Tilbury makeup, everything looks too yellow or orangish on me! Pillow Talk makes me look literally dead 😅 I only bought Candy Chic and Rose to Fame, they are flattering on my lips and I love the Kissing formula 🌺
Yes, I like the Sisley better but neither of them are ones I use the most. I reach for Cle de Peau, Prada, Suqqu, and Koh Gen Do foundations most often.
I don’t plan on purchasing the new Tom Ford foundation. There are too many fabulous foundations available for far less. Plus living in sw Florida, sweating is a way of life. I do like the Charlotte Tilbury fair lip pencil. The lipstick is a pass for me. I need to actually see and try CT lipsticks in person as her lipsticks usually turn orange on me. The DM blush is really pretty. But, I need to use up some of what I have. Thank you for another in depth review.❤
The palette is pretty as single shades 🤔but the white /mint doesn't look that good w any of the other colours? It might be due to being more powdery... It kinda doesn't add anything worthwhile. And I don't wanna wear a warm brown like that with a purple. It works great for you because it matches your eyes but on me it would look plain weird
I just commented that too, it's disappointing that the mint looks like MINT in the pictures but when used it looks white, it doesn't look like a pastel mint
I think the new Tom Ford foundation is going to be a swerve for me. it seems poorer quality/longevity compared to the original traceless soft matte, especially considering it is nearly twice the price. The shade & illuminate is also a poor formula for the very high price. I am going to stick to the Louboutin foundation
@@LexiJong Do! It is superb. Be warned that the neutral shades pull VERY warm and are darker. The cool shades are a true neutral and are lighter. I am normally 05 in Tom Ford and nw15-Nw20 in Mac and 15C is perfect for me in louboutin. So I suspect you will want 10c or 5C
I have to say. Even tho the price is crazy. (All TF is) I don’t like the way it sits on the skin. I am a dry girl and it wouldn’t work. Especially if it’s fussy for the price. No. The Dior is pretty. But again, too much for what you get. I hate being negative. 😊😊😊. DM her products are so nice. They are catered to all skin types. I love that

I think you should try to find it in person to test the shade. I don't have the dior cushion so I'm not positive.

I got the PT fair lip pencil and I love the shade. I wish I’d skipped the lipstick, though. Its meh. I’m DEFINITELY skipping the Charlotte plumping gloss. I do not do plumping and that one looks so irritating!
I think I’m passing on the Dior quint. It’s pretty, but I think I’ve got all of those shades in luxury formulas I already like. I’m glad it’s a good formula, though. You never know with Dior now. It looked really pretty on you!
I think those are smart decisions Lisa. The Prada foundation is so much better imo! I ordered the D&G so I'm crossing my fingers for that one!

Hello :) thank you for your review. How is the TF Architecture Foundation compared to the Guerlain Parure Gold Skin Matte you reviewed in the past? Do they perform similarly?
I think the Guerlain has a smoother finish and looks better on the skin, the TF is more finicky.

I do not understand why companies are using capsaicin in glosses. I don’t love my lip lines but I like the thought of an ER visit any less. The Dior palette is a bit of a bummer, as I was hoping it would be just a touch more vibrant. I’m guessing it would be great in the old formula.
I think it would have been great in the old formula too. At least this one is decent but still just not as good...
I am SO glad I was able to sample the TF foundation before buying it. I thought it was just my skin (combo/oily) or skincare, or climate, but as soon as you put it on I was like !!! That’s exactly how it looked on me!! Clingy to every micro-dry-patch that I didn’t even know I had! It looked beautiful and soft freshly applied from a distance. But any step closer and you could SEE all the texture on my skin, which again, I didn’t even know I had. And it just went downhill from there. Terrible wear, it oxidized, it looked flaky, dry, but at the same time oily, like dirty oily. I mean, yes I guess you can try to work with it by prepping your skin furthermore but why??? It’s $150. I shouldn’t have to work so hard for it. It should do it FOR me! Lol I literally washed it off every time I wore it. Hard pass!

I also got the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Fair liner in hopes that it's not as orange on me as the original one, it hasn't arrived yet, but this review makes me feel better about getting it. I wanted to ask you how does the color compare to Lisa Eldridge's 1C liner because I was a bit torn between those two, I'm really hoping I chose well and that the Charlotte Tilbury one is cooler 🤞. I have the same issue with the Charlotte Tilbury makeup, everything looks too yellow or orangish on me! Pillow Talk makes me look literally dead 😅 I only bought Candy Chic and Rose to Fame, they are flattering on my lips and I love the Kissing formula 🌺

Zelens Lens Ready Foundation is the same type of foundation as the TF but much better performance in my opinion.

Yes, I like the Sisley better but neither of them are ones I use the most. I reach for Cle de Peau, Prada, Suqqu, and Koh Gen Do foundations most often.

I don’t plan on purchasing the new Tom Ford foundation. There are too many fabulous foundations available for far less. Plus living in sw Florida, sweating is a way of life. I do like the Charlotte Tilbury fair lip pencil. The lipstick is a pass for me. I need to actually see and try CT lipsticks in person as her lipsticks usually turn orange on me. The DM blush is really pretty. But, I need to use up some of what I have. Thank you for another in depth review.❤

The palette is pretty as single shades 🤔but the white /mint doesn't look that good w any of the other colours? It might be due to being more powdery... It kinda doesn't add anything worthwhile. And I don't wanna wear a warm brown like that with a purple. It works great for you because it matches your eyes but on me it would look plain weird

I think the new Tom Ford foundation is going to be a swerve for me. it seems poorer quality/longevity compared to the original traceless soft matte, especially considering it is nearly twice the price. The shade & illuminate is also a poor formula for the very high price. I am going to stick to the Louboutin foundation

@@LexiJong Do! It is superb. Be warned that the neutral shades pull VERY warm and are darker. The cool shades are a true neutral and are lighter. I am normally 05 in Tom Ford and nw15-Nw20 in Mac and 15C is perfect for me in louboutin. So I suspect you will want 10c or 5C

I have to say. Even tho the price is crazy. (All TF is) I don’t like the way it sits on the skin. I am a dry girl and it wouldn’t work. Especially if it’s fussy for the price. No. The Dior is pretty. But again, too much for what you get. I hate being negative. 😊😊😊. DM her products are so nice. They are catered to all skin types. I love that
