Love your content Brother. A couple suggestions to maybe make your life a bit easier. 1- make a check list for everything you need when you are on a job. I have trouble remembering things and a check list makes it easy. 2-get a sheet of 5/8" plywood and lay it in your trailer. When you're ready to load the hogs use it as a ramp and you won't have to lift the hogs. Just slide them right in the trailer. I worked construction and land scaping for well over 25 years and my back is shot. Just a suggestion to help you save your back Brother.

Cutting palmetto frons, and sitting on a mat of them at a swamps edge hog hunting kept the floaties free of those red bugs. The Lord helps those...that help them selves! Sometimes, He has to give ya a reminder!

I have an idea to help you save your back. Get a flat board and cut it to the size of the inside of your rear trailer. Cut a hole in the (middle/ top) of the board. In other words a platform for your trailer. Tie a rope and slide it through the hole and loop it on your trailer hitch. Slide the board off the trailer and lay each pig on the board all at once or as many as it can hold, then pull the truck up a few feet with the rope attached and the board and the pigs will slide right into the trailer. In other words a poor man’s sliding wench board. Just like you would pull a sled except the truck pulling forward would be taking the strain instead of your back. 💡

I live in East Tennessee. Everyone swears they are wild hogs here but I personally have never seen one with my own eyes or even seen traces of hogs.

I spent Christmas 2 years ago with some in-laws in Texas that don't believe in God. I told my wife it was never going to happen again and I meant it.
