Thank you for posting this. It's really interesting that most of conservative and libertarian criticism of Hollywood was largely the same 30 years ago. The adolescent rebellious spirit of Hollywood has been driving it, for good and bad, for at least that much - if not since the very beginning.
Adolescent rebellion against any and all authority, decrying all traditions, desperate desire to be on the "right side of history", whichever people around deem that side to be. Weird conformity in non-conformism.

This is a good one right here. I’m a big fan of old school black and white films and honestly wish they wud show more on tv. I’m a pretty big movie guy I love a Quentin tarintino movie to but the movie industry especially now has jus really been in the trash these last 25 30 years I mean sure yes there r some great classics but nowadays movies u never even heard of win Oscars and academy awards.. I mean those shows have been jus ads at this point for movies. I’m not a hypocrite when it’s comes to vulgar language or anything either. I definitely think that the state of movies for a very long time has been more of a push for political gain more then an actual story especially with remakes on celebrities or any historical event and then try to turn it into a blame this or blame that. I mean actors and producers that don’t complain they want to push it more money in there pocket. I think movies r getting to a point where it’s they drop it then a month later it’s on Netflix or Hulu
