Sir i have same tdci model and my car has done 182000 kms. I just done 4000 km long journey Jaipur-goa and back 4 person and full luggage still my car has given me 24 kmpl and i think its the best car in this segment.

We had a 2004 Ikon Flair it was a beast, great performance, long road trips perfect car. I surely miss the Ikon days. Later we got an Endaevour 2010 still running strong. Ford knows how to make quality products. Great video, thank you for producing such good content and taking me back on a nostalgic journey. Miss our Ford Ikon. Josh Machine will always be in my heart. Keep producing great content and thanks again for the beautiful rush of memories.

I have a 2010 make Ikon Tdci.
It has clocked 1,38,478 kms, still running like new, no rattles, only regular periodic maintenance.
Mileage-- City: 16-18kmpl with AC.
Highway: 21-28kmpl with AC..
Superb handling n ride quality...

Bro I had also buy but in petrole engine all over car was very nice good pickup very comfortable and mostly safest car build quality is strong than others really I love ford fiesta very much but only one lackness was that mileage is very low on highway I got 13 maxm and in city 8-9 this was my petrole engine car experience .bro u also tell me about ur diesel engine mileage must reply me

Ford Ikon did have many reliability issues, radiator fan stopping for no good reason was just one of them, yes diesel was powerful and pretty popular as diesel was gaining popularity during early 2000's, but nevertheless it had a dream run for about 5- 6 years + had countless variants on offer.
I am using 2007 ford ikon flair 1.3 petrol it's running perfect no other car can give the ride feel of ford ikon returns me the millage of around 18kmpl
Bro iam aiming to buy the same model 2008 Ford ikon flair 1.3 petrol one in second hand the car was well maintained and parts of the car are original and only 45km has driven till now the owner selling for 1lakh should i go for the car or not in 1lakh rs

I've missed the iconic era of ford diesel . It breaks my heart that in India they've limited diesel engines to 15 years . Means that should be evaluated according to the health of vehicle . And give me a reason to ban them . They are more efficient , runs way more than petrol.
Reason to ban them- common man cannot leave jobs and go to Dharnas to ask question.
No Ban on commercial vehicles because of Taxi Unions or Auto Unions.

Hello.uncle great to see the video review. I too have an ikon TDCI 2009 model and had clocked 220000km still doing great and really one of a kind work horse. Yes all were company service. As u mentioned gear knob is low placed. Mirrors are small. But apart from that rest all really great. Really appreciate your effort in making this video. Dono ne mast quality di thi, lekin hum mote hai aur pedals aur legs position ka problem tha, Lekin mazze hote agar kharid leta... Lekin mere pass ab Zen Estilo hai, 2007 wala. Aapke Checklist ke hisab se liya, 27k+ km chali thi, Estilo ki Engine bhi mast hai sir, Fast bhi jaathi hai... No issues. Ho sake aap Bangalore aake Meri gaadi bhi review kare. Overall
