I would have Keane as number one, just like in the all-time premier league 7 list. I mean how many times did Ronaldo and Henry go missing in big games? Ronaldo was non existent against Chelsea every time they played and I'll never forget the performance against Portsmouth in 2008 when they lost that FA cup game, if Keane was playing that game they wouldn't have lost! Well considering Ferguson knew it was pointless having him up against Cole as he would have been destroyed he stuck him on the left wing where he faced off against Michael Essien who was the makeshift right back and Ronaldo scored a goal in the first half and was completely ineffective in the second half and extra time. When the pressure came on him in the penalty shootout he bottled it. Don't get wrong I loved Ronaldo when he was at the club and he's had some career since but I just felt Keane was better. Anyone who could captain a premier league side to a title with the likes of Luke Chadwick alongside you and Fabian Barthez in goal is a serious player

Rooney perhaps wasn't as rare as Roy Keane, although it could be argued was even more rare, but was a great servamt to the club, with ridiculous drive and determination, and skill wise was better than Scholes by every metric available. A very good list, hard to argue with the players mentioned. Have been United fan for 50 odd yrs, thought Martin Buchan was a great player in a poor team, same with Paul McGrath a bit later. Players that were lucky enough to have played in winning teams seem to get more plaudits than those that played in weaker teams. Despite me not thinking Rooney having a better legacy than most of those guys, I still think he should be there. The fact that He's United's record goalscorer, England's record goalscorer, 2nd most goals in prem history, and I think 2nd or 3rd most assists in premier league history, he just has to be there. Even West Germany in the World Cup final said,you stop Bobby Charlton you stop England. Every body knew when he got the ball (at his peak) something was going to happen, bit like George Best as well. Bobby is/was such a gentleman, ambassador of the game and Utd.. renowned the world over. George was of course up there too,but to be the greatest you have to have all those attributes. Rooney perhaps wasn't as rare as Roy Keane, although it could be argued was even more rare, but was a great servamt to the club, with ridiculous drive and determination, and skill wise was better than Scholes by every metric available.
Beckham should also be in that list. A fantastic midfielder of vital importance for club and country!

A very good list, hard to argue with the players mentioned. Have been United fan for 50 odd yrs, thought Martin Buchan was a great player in a poor team, same with Paul McGrath a bit later. Players that were lucky enough to have played in winning teams seem to get more plaudits than those that played in weaker teams. Anyway my favorite of all time and I'm sure the opposition fans favourite player of all time made the list! The one and only King Denis 👑.
