During my research I found a few problems with the composting toilets. 1. A few people mentioned running into odor issues. 2. You need brown matter to cover after each use. 3. My family of six would be using it faaaar too often for it to have time to compost. With our available space and usage needs, this one was a much better choice I think. 🤔
I looked into those kinds as well. In order to keep up to our family, they'd go through like a 25lbs bottle of propane a week (if I remember correctly). It would be very expensive to run. The one we have was just the original investment, so it seemed like the best bet 😊!
