i think I’m slowly getting why hannah put zach on the tapes and why she said those stuffs in the tape but never mentioned their relationship... probably because the real reason was that she felt like the whole summer thing was nothing to zack when it meant so much to her. She probably didn’t want everyone to know about their relationship (just as zach wanted) so instead of telling their story, she used the “zach threw away my note” as one of the reasons when zach actually kept the note... and he actually cared for hannah all along, he even kept her picture. I just regret that they never got the chance to say how they really felt for each other
The reason they broke up was both Hannah AND Zach's fault because they both let each other go. Hannah didn't tell him how she felt so she let him go, and Zach didn't tell her how he felt and he let her go. They both have a problem with showing and explaining how they feel. Sucks cause they were perfect together and Zach woulda really taken care of her. :/ Zach and Hannah's relationship was so much better than Clay's and Hannah's imo

OMG it happened! I liked Zach in season 1. Yes, he reacted when she turned him down, but it was hurt ego. I didn't see him as a cruel guy. I just started season 2 and seeing this only makes me want to continue ASAP

thats not true. Zach didnt even want to make her official in front of his friends. Clay always respected her, from day one and wouldnt have histated a second to say, THIS IS HANNAH, MY GIRLFRIEND. Hannah and Zach wouldve been this relationship which wouldve ended after highschool. Clay and her would been a long term, esp. since hannah had feelings for him but she thought she was not good enough for him. Zach hurted her, Clay never did, at least not with knowing. Zach knew what he did, he knew that he lied to his friends about her. Thats the worse that you couldve done

Then you didn't have a relationship before. And Zach also judged Hannah, and? He even laughed about it.. Their relationship was dammed to go down. Clay did LOVE her, i mean, he still misses her which explains why he sees her in season 2. He can't move on, he can't let her go, Zach doesn't seem to really care anymore.
