Arkansas vs. #15 TCU 2016 (2-OT)

- Highlights of the Razorbacks wild 41-38 double-overtime upset of #15 TCU in the first meeting since 1991 between the old Southwest Conference foes. Dan Skipper would block the game-winning field goal attempt with under 15 seconds left and Austin Allen would score from five yards out on the ground to improve the Hogs to 44-23-2 all-time against the Horned Frogs. The victory also snapped TCU's 14-game home winning streak. Arkansas is now 12-6 in overtime games including 9-1 in 2-OT games or longer.
I was at the game in person and am just now, three days later, starting to get my voice back. I've never yelled/roared so much in my life. What an instant classic game. After game one I was a little worried about Austin Allen but he was totally clutch on the last drive in regulation and on the last play of the game God himself couldn't have kept him out of the endzone. We're gonna be just fine. Beat A&M!
Man I bet it was a lot of fun being there. Looked like there were a lot of Hog fans there.

Austin Allen has arrived! The guts. The moxie. The "it" factor. The clutch gene. The Allen bros have those in spades. His first road start? Check. 3 TD's passing 1 rushing with no turnovers? Boy oh boy this could be a crazy season! That game at Jerry's World against A&M has now become must-see TV.

I went to that game. Going to be very memorable. Lol. Most TCU fans were leaving saying good game to me when they were up 28-20. No Arkansas fan left because we know it's not over till the clock hits ZERO! It was amazing looking at all the faces of TCU fans lol. WOO PIG SOOIE!!
I had to go outside and walk the neighborhood late in the game and missed AA's drive with minutes to play. I could hear people yelling OMG...OMG.on their patio so I knew something good was happening. I didn't program UVerse to record an hr. extra so ...Thank You for posting this !!!

I loved how Austin got better as the game progressed and how poised he looked in tough spots. That is one thing that Brandon struggled with early in his career. Go Hogs!

Agreed. We had such a talented receiving corps that year and were strong at RB but our O line was just abysmal. Felt bad for Austin every game with all the hits he took.

Yea it helped with the field position, but they still had to go 58 yards and get the 2-point. Not like they got it at the 10. Had more to do with Austin Allen slicing the TCU defense up that drive and the two overtime drives.

I had my doubts about Austin Allen but those are fading away fast, he seems to never miss in the 4th quarter and will do anything to win. Now the defense needs to carry the first 3 quarters into the 4th. What a game...

I wish that all of the schools from the old Southwest Conference would use at least one of their non-conference games to renew old SWC rivalries. Arkansas and Texas A&M play each other regularly because they are both now in the SEC, but it would be fun to see Arkansas play SMU, or A&M play Texas, or Baylor play Houston. I think that being able to see more SWC match-ups would be a blast for those of us who grew up watching that conference.
I am truly afraid! I invest so much in the Hogs and they end up breaking my heart each year. How can I keep doing this to myself. Once again they pull me back in. Oh my Razorbacks I can't control myself when it comes to you. You had me at "H"!
Not to mention Brooks Ellis had an outstanding game and Rawleigh williams is a rising star, Austin Allen made some really good throws.
