I’m new to your channel, came across your video while searching for a medical biller and coder. I’m just starting school for this and I’m super excited, because I want to do exactly what you’re doing and that’s working from home. I just recently subscribed to your channel because your videos are very informative!!! Thank you!
It’s so awesome to see another medical coder! I’m currently in behavioral health outpatient, but about to dabble back in radiology. My favorite specialty to bill/code is Nephrology outpatient (radiology, hypertension, E/M, infusions, etc). It was such a great experience. And I get it! I have a 2 year old (preemie) and she has been up late at night lol! I’m like “it’s NIGHT NIGHT time!” Working remotely ain’t for the faint at heart with kids but it’s worth it!
I remember applying EVERYWHERE before I finally got a yes. I applied to 5 different places everyday for a month before I finally had a job offer. It’s tough but it’s worth it. I sure did freak out though haha. I code the E&M level for the ED visits as well as any procedures and IV meds/injections that are done. I also do the Observation IVs/injections and observation time since I have my nursing license too. Your husband waking you up to change your son was real though lol we don’t have kids but my husband will do something similar. “Hey babe the dryer is done”😑😂like ok, go ahead, you know what to do. You don’t need me haha
I hope you guys are enjoying Vlogmas so far!!! 🎄🎥

I love your channel. I recently became a certified medical coder.
I love your channel and I am so glad I found it. I am a coder also. I code Neurology and Neurosurgery and work from home as well.

Great video! How long did you code just E/M services?
Awesome to hear about a manager that endorses professional growth, even if that means losing someone on their own team.
I want to specialize in neurology
I want to specialize in OBGYN coding
What would be good advice for a brand new biller and coder
