    Mazda Cx 3 is a great car that is why it is so popular

    You wouldn't turn around for the most beautiful car design in the world the year this car came out.

    Mazda 3 (2.0 litre) equivalent spec is around the same price, but more spacious interior and likely to drive and handle a bit better. But I guess some people just have their hearts set on an "suv".

      Yes I would definitely choose a Mazda3, especially the sedan over a CX-3, but that's just me personally.

      @@4wheelsandaseat I usually like a hatchback, but in this case - bigger boot and better visibly with the sedan.

      Sometimes it's not about "the best bang for your buck". Subcompact cars and SUVs still have their place.
      We have a Mazda 2 as the second car in our household.
      My husband drives the 'family car' (Mazda 3 sedan). I drive the Mazda 2 for school pick ups. We take it for inner city driving, etc (our family is small).

    It is underpowered if you stay in D. If you shift your own gears in manual mode, it is fairly nimble.

    "Adequate power around town" ... this is a vehicle with 90kW/t ... somewhat mystified by that statement.

    By the time the idiot light comes on your in major trouble- with a temp gauge you get a heads up something starting to happen and can hopefully save your car from major harm- stupid not having one- also fog lights are important that Mazda has gotten stupid about.

    All pretty and adequate but, I keep hearing about horrendous underbody rust🤒🤕

    • @4wheelsandaseat
      @4wheelsandaseat  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven’t heard that, but I did own a Mazda 3 for 8 years and never had any rust problems.

      In the dark it doesn't look white. It looks like an off gray or silver depending on how the Sun hits it too during the day. If it's cloudy out, it looks like a gray car

    I've never owned a Mazda so long term reliability is a big concern.

      Mazdas are very reliable and well made - I've owned two of them.

    • @JohnDoe-md2sb
      @JohnDoe-md2sb 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @4wheelsandaseat. That's encouraging. I was told that Mazdas have issues with the anti-pollution system and the electric components are problematic and hard to correct. Any issues with those?

    Very disappointed when Mazda dropped them from the US. After an unlicensed idiot side-swiped my 2019, I got a 2024, made in Japan, Mazda 3 hatch. Very happy with the 3, but the CX-3 will be missed.

    10 years with few upgrades...
    C'mon Mazda..along with the 6 it should have been redesigned 5 years ago.
    With a PROPER TOUCH screen!.

      Been a Cx-3 owner for 2 years and I will say I really appreciate the dial control. Keeps the screen clean and after just some time using it I really don't mind at all. I will agree that I think it is due time for another face-lift.

    • @GianMelendres-if7ph
      @GianMelendres-if7ph 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Listen kid, what do you think will happen if that “proper touch screen” dies-like any tech would?
      Say, 3-5 years?
      A. It will magically repair itself?
      B. You’ll fork out some $5000 to replace the entire dashboard because the “proper touch screen” is embedded to the whole dash?
      Unless you can prove there’s some touch screen that can last 10 years without breaking and freezing and glitching and software updating bricking, Mazda is great where they are now.
      Lastly this is a car, in case you haven’t noticed, yet. Not a toy.

      I was surprised to see it's still for sale in Australia, it was discontinued in the US after 2021 model year. The CX-30 took it's place despite being on a larger platform. I much prefer the look of the CX-3 though, the CX-30 looks awkward with big wheel well gaps.

    • @4wheelsandaseat
      @4wheelsandaseat  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We get both CX-3 and CX-30 here. CX-30 is definitely a better car, but the CX-3 still sells big numbers.

      Mazda isnt as big as other car brands but that doesnt mean they aren’t a proper car brand. Its one of the most reliable cars around the world.

  • @staffnsnake

    I have hired a car for 9 days. The Mazda CX3 was the cheapest I could find. I was given a brand-new car with 700km on the clock. It is not an SUV, it's an underpowered hatchback that feels like it came out of a show bag. The hollow plastic feeling of the controls is obvious and tacky. The Digital Touch screen seldom works, so I have to rely on Siri or my AirPods Pro to control when driving. I only just found out from this review that it is designed not to be able to be used while driving., That's ridiculous. Cruise control has no proximity control, so while my Subaru Outback is having its diesel particulate filter replaced, I nearly drove into a car in front of me. The boot is tiny. I have added this car to the list of cars I would never buy.

      Mazda's Kodo design language. I quite like it, but if you're not a fan you might need to look elsewhere. Good cars though...
