This was one of the best storylines ever. I was captivated by it. Because we never actually saw her being killed or her body being pulled out of the water, I was fully convinced she wasn’t dead. The moment she appeared back on screen weeks later, I gasped and cheered at the same time. Denise is one of my favourites ever on the show, along with Sharon, Kat, and Stacey. (And Ronnie 😞😭)

@@ladyofspa The same day *Denise* went to the hotel to see *Ravi, Chelsea* confirmed to *Denise* that she saw on *Libby's* socials, that she is staying with *Darren* in the Cotswolds (it's unknown whether they are back together or not though).
This was a brilliant Plot twist, I mean we were all led to believe Lucas had actually killed Denise until later on we find out she had been held captive by Lucas.
It was pretty obvious that it wasn't Denise that was dead if you paid attention lol. I remember looking at the nails of the hand sticking up saying nah that ain't Denise. Still a good storyline though
I like how she walks into the room looking like a rag blown through a tornado after 50 years but chelsea is like 'NO! SHE FAKED IT!!'... Not VERY real is it...
People get murdered on soaps all the time. A pastor abducting his wife, keeping her locked in a basement and faking her death is a lot darker. That, along with storylines like Dawn/Mad May baby saga, Ronnie/Kat baby swap - you can see EastEnders is a lot less dark nowadays.
I'm rewatching the Bill on Drama and it's hilarious to see her and Jack in it. "Jack" is as arrogant a detective in Eastenders as he was in the Bill. She's barely aged a day!!!
Lucas is really a monster and Libby will never forgive Lucas for what he did to Owen. Owen was a good person since he got out prison and he would never hurt Libby again.

This was the real last time I watched EE I miss the late 80’s to late 90’s EE it’s just never been the same.
