something about you thats very special is you know there are beginners that think they can do anything so you are supporting them by making it very specific and you are making easy steps as opposed to other tutorials they are not specific for other beginners and go so fast. You are the only person I can actually learn from. Not even other people with crazy amounts of subscribers. Thank you for all you are doing.
i remember back in the day when i was in high school and you bboy clover and sinister were all i ever watched for tutorials. man to see you have 1 million subs is crazy!!!
I don’t know how but ever since I was a kid I’ve always been able to do head spins. When I finished watching this video I tried it again after years (probably over 4 years) and I immediately did it no problem. Yet when I relearn a front flip it takes me a few tries.
Hey pigmie! I've been trying to learn headspins for about 5 months now. I realized that my problem isn't practice, but that I do not understand the feeling of spinning around on my head. For example, when I tap, I can tap in almost half a rotation very comfortably, but when I reach for the tap that is larger than a half then my body panics and I lose balance. The same thing is seen when I attempt headspin drills. I get half a rotation after I push off while im in a straight leg headstand, but I only get half a rotation before my legs drop down from sheer panic. Do you have any tips for overcoming this obstacle and trying to get the "feeling" of headspinning? I've tried doing a headstand on a spinning chair and tried spinning the chair around to no avail. I've asked a friend to spin my around himself, but it didn't help understand the feeling. I've even contemplated using a carousel and doing a headstand in the middle of it, but there are none in the nearby playgrounds. :( Anyway, great video as always!
okay I'll try and help you. Make sure you have a solid headstand (staying up for as long as you decide to come down), and only using 1 finger on each hand to help balance. This will allow more of your balance through your head and not your hands. Ensure you legs are wide, and toes pointing towards the floor when in headstand. Do not let you knee's go below your waist. Imagine your body is cut in half at the waist...upper body ahead of your legs. Always turn your shoulder's not your arms. now to start turning: feet apart on the floor and hands fairly wide. Turn your shoulder's and place your hands on the floor, pop then pop your legs up then turn, by pulling your body towards your hands, then slowly lower your legs. At the start don't tap for such a huge distance, little baby step taps are all that's needed. Practice this over and over, this helps you to understand the motion and help build core muscles. Then repeat, when more confident, instead of lowering your feet to the floor after each tap, keep your legs/feet in the air. Do very small sharp taps at first, once you have practiced this for while, you'll start to develop the balance, and once your control is good with some momentum, you'll get there in the end. With regards to the balance it's very hard to teach and even explain...for instance learning to ride a bike, you can explain to someone how the bike works, and what you must to do propel the wheels and bike forward, but how do you explain how not to fall over. That is often the case of practice, practice, practice...which makes permanent (not perfect). Good luck and don't give up. Be confident and you'll get there in the end, because it sounds from your comments, you say your body panics because you may have lost control, but that I believe is more in your head...feeling out of control. With time you'll get more comfortable when losing or off balance, and you'll find a way to adjust your legs/hips/taps to catch your balance again. Also comes down to how long you keep your hands on the floor when tapping, a tap should be almost like a flick when done correct, but at the start you'll hand your hands on the floor for longer.
Your fear is holding you back. Conquer that first.... full taps feel way different in speed compared to half or quarter taps.... very scary!!! Fear is the biggest factor in most cases and in this one.... just fight thru it
Yeah! I agree helmet for beginners & it stabilizes the headstand even better for balance. Not to mention also makes it easier to perform... Good luck guys.
Hey, i can do roughly 5-8 glides after 3 or so taps consistently however i find that to help me balance my hips will move up and down, any tips in making it more sturdy, other than practice of course?
@@_sacapuntas_8612 i now rotate my upper body first then my hips and then lock my hips. as long as i lock my hips as soon as my body is straight (make sure the hips dont rotate ahead of my upper body) it helps with balance and helps a lot with the glide.
@ Jack Plays not hating, I only subbed to him in the first place because I admired him and his styles, and I liked his flips. No point in staying subbed if everything he uploads, I can already do them, and do them BETTER at that. He's still a great TH-camr, just unnecessary notifications now
Anttjuan Reid hence my channel name, I attempted a game channel, not dancing channel, I'm not the outgoing type to post myself dancing, I dont video myself dancing, singing, rapping, flipping, anything of that sort, just feels weird, im camera shy, my girlfriend hates it, she always wants couple pictures and I'm often stubborn about it, plus it'll be hard to start off the channel since my subs are so low, it'll take forever to reach 1M sub. Please no hate guys, if I chose to unsub let me do me, but to start any mess with me is simply immature

Random Gamer 16 lol no one's starting any mess with you. It's just you make big claims with no evidence to back those claims. That's all.
