I was actually referring to Cebuano Visayan or Cebuano when I labeled " Visayan" as a dialect, as it is the most widely spoken dialect of the Visayan or Bisayan language group spoken elsewhere in Cagayan de Oro City or Pagadian City & Zambianga where Ken hails from. Otherwise, I was just emphasizing that Visayan is smaller & more specific & often regional, looser & more fluid in use, compared to Tagalog or Pilipino which is the country's official language & as such, is far broader, more formal & clearly defiined.
