What is going on in this song? Damned if I know, but it is weird and hypnotic. It's not really a good description to call Go Ahead a song, it's more like a collision of parallel realities. The hollow booming echo in the background, mixed with the executive board room under chatter is eerie and compelling. And then there's the chorus, on top of everything else. This is the kind of music that suddenly just pops into my head without warning, and I've got to stop whatever I'm doing, and listen to it...
@@flintmichigan1, as are so many Wire tracks! I never really have a favorite song, they keep rotating on and off the top of my list. Currently, I'm favoring "Single K.O" and "Silk Skin Paws", but they're ALL great.
