As a woodcarver 1000 year old wood is rare since it deteriorates, it would be useless to carve with unless is was petrified/fossilized. If any wood carving survives 1000 years it is very valuable indeed as its rare for wood to exist for more than a few hundred years even when taking good care of it

I dont know much of asmr but i know 4 most, its a sound thing, they like sounds. I find the VISUAL of taping and atmosphere(your dress, background, etc) to be the thing to put me to sleep.
