- A Heuer family member flew in from Geneva to meet Jonathan Scatchard from Vintage Heuer and to be interviewed in a world exclusive video here on TH-cam! This is Jean-Jacques von Erlach the grandson of Hubert Heuer. Jean-Jacques will reveal information on the Heuer story that you’ve never heard before. JJ contacted Jonathan Scatchard from Vintage Heuer who are based at Bowcliffe Hall, Wetherby, England and asked if Jonathan would like to help him tell his family story for the very first time

As described, the end of the Heuer story was not easy for the family.
But I am impresseed how Jack Heuer has retained his pride and humility as Honorary President of TAG Heuer! Together with Jean-Claude Biver and Catherine Eberle he brought the Vintage Heuers back to life!
I would also like to mention Jeff Stein, Abel Court, Nic Green, Arno Haslinger, Jonathan Scatchard and all the Heueristas in the world for keeping the legacy alive!

Excellent! If I may be so bold, may I ask Herr Jean-Jacques if what I've heard is true- that It was a Heuer watch that was the first to be made specifically for an automobile dashboard, and was placed in a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost in 1911?

I wish I'd been handy when JJ discarded that Rolex ... right in line behind David. Radium Girls the movie hits home for me - a lot of those dials were painted about 40 miles (call it 60km) from my house. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radium_Girls
