- Kerbeus is finally back! It's been almost 4 years since we last saw a main Kerbeus release. Kyle in Beyblade Burst Cho-Z/Turbo created his Kerbeus Bey and Kensuke was nowhere to be seen anymore in the series 😢. Beyblade Burst BU doesn't have an anime to go along with the products, but in our heads, Kensuke owns this one!
Anyways, this Chain Kerbeus is LEGIT! The ability didn't seem that crazy when it was announced by Takara Tomy, but the combo is very solid and will defend against attacks very well. The ability changes depending on whether you're in low mode or high mode, so that's an added gimmick for those looking for more variety. The chains will either retract upon impact while in low mode or stay in a fixed position, expanded out, in high mode. Combined with the new Fortress Disc, 6 Armor, and Yard', the entire combo weighs almost 75g, a solid weight figure for a new BU Bey.

KENSUKEEEE WE MISS YOU BROOO! Kerbeus finally makes a comeback after years of being ignored by Takara Tomy. We're really hyped to see this evolution of the Kerbeus Bey and it's even better when it comes with quite a few new parts. The combo weighs quite a bit and our test battles showed that the defense capabilities of this combo are promising. The Bey sits really low, so it can use some Driver improvements, but it's solid overall. You should definitely try to get your hands on this Bey, especially if you're a fan of Ken and Kerbeus!

Chain reminds me so much of Tact from Tact Longinus from random booster vol. 17 because Chain has the same gimmick as Tact but instead Tact uses the metal weights for the little blades to appear where with Chain it uses the DB core and not the metal weight

Chains' gimmick is very similar to the GT layer Tact, one of my favourite layers.
For using the valkyrie 2 chip on chain the db core actually moves up a bit on the sides when you press it in.
I vote for Chain vs Guilty although I already know that will happen eventually so I'd also like to see an evolutions battle for Kerbeus

I would love to see it battle ultimate Valkyrie. However I personally would prefer you use normal YARD because the burst resistance will be a little worse although still good. Just exciting to see a bit more bursts in DB

@@obcena1447 no that’s not the reason, I like replacing most beys drivers with a normal spring unless they really need the dash driver. I think it’s unfortunate that in sparking and BU we hardly see bursts anymore.

@@obcena1447 hey dude chill out, there’s no need to get so upset over this. In my experience using Valkryie against chain kerbeus, Valkryie burst quite a bit even with its dash driver. If you want proof of this you can watch Drago galaxy’s video: chain kerbeus vs ultimate Valkyrie. Even with the dash driver Valkryie still bursts a ton. I actually like Kerbeus more than Valkyrie but I like seeing both beys having the same level of burst resistance even more. It’s not that complex mate.

I think Kerbeus needs a taller driver maybe like orbit metal there’s a green version I’m sure you guys have it or the atomic that came on guardian Kerbeus. Although I think they really should’ve made atomic metal Dash for him instead, what do I mean by this? It’s inspired from the Bey detective‘s video where the ball is made out of metal and it’s a dash driver, that would’ve been awesome!

Fun fact :Chain blade gimmick is like Tact base gimmick when put different weight on Tact, the wing will out differently. same to Chain blade
It might have no stamina but all you need is just a different driver. But we finally have a real defense type beyblade that can actually take hits and not die very fast. Maybe atomic or another driver may work better but yard does have good defense it's just that it is so low to the stadium.

I really don't like that Chain Kerbeus's eyes are yellowish, but my main problem is choice of color for the rubber. I wish the rubber on the Kerbeus core was blue, just like the rubber on Roar Bahamut's core was.
