I knew that someone would come out pointing that out. Do you not think their parents are aware of where the children are. We need to consider that these wonderful people live a life so far removed from our Western culture that sometimes we tend to judge them according to OUR fears and OUR culture. They are the parents of those children, they know how to provide and how to care for them, ACCORDING TO THEIR CULTURE. Let's give all those people WE THINK ought to live their lives according to a different way, other than their own, a round of applause, and let's give them, without condemnation, the praise they deserve, because if anyone of us, from the Western hemisphere, would be confronted with the same situation as theirs, we would starve or OR run to the gvt demanding support. Let's enjoy watching their video and appreciate how they live and survive on very little. I, for one, am learning quite a lot, realizing all the extra stuff I have and don't use, it would be sufficient for 10 families, NOT 10 people, 10 FAMILIES. As a result of these shows, I have decided to get rid of a LOT of stuff and donate it to the needy. So, thanks to you, wonderful Vietnamese people for opening my eyes to what is necessary and what is ridiculously superfluous...my house decluttered will look much more spacious once my goal has been accomplished. NOTE: I hear a lot of people saying they desire a much simpler life, but no one is willing to start giving their excess away. It reminds me of the parable of the rich young man who asked Jesus what he should do in order to enter the Kingdom. Jesus told him to follow the 10 Commendements. The young man said "I already do all that God Commands". Jesus, knowing he was very rich, said to him, then sell all you have and give the money to the poor. When the young man realized he had to give away all what he had, he walked away with his head bowed down... and Jesus said to those around Him "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than rich man to enter the Kingdom" Mark 10:19
