New Person, Same Old Mistakes // Canada 1700s 🇨🇦

AU explanation stuff;
This kinda 1700s (ish) Canada lore.
France got to colonize Canada first with New France but New France is like a mix of 5 colonies: Canada, Louisiane, Acadia/Acadie, Terr-Neuve / Plaisance (Newfoundland) and Hudson Bay.
Later France accepted Britains claim to Newfoundland and Huston bay in the Treaty of Utrecht.
Then as most people know all of France’s colonies were given away. Britain got most but Spain got the Louisiane area.

Like America in my AU, Canada isn’t just a single thing/person but a bunch in like a body suit. (Also why they refer to each other as “you all” ).
What’s the point of all of this?
New France isn’t all of Canada basically (in my au) 😀 and Colonial Canada is mainly represented by the British side of French side for me ❤️😘
Also Quebec is basically the New France (Canada)
Also the area owned by the HBC (Ruperts land) I think of it as British never French so
