- Hurricane Beryl is headed towards Texas in the Gulf of Mexico. Tropical storm/hurricane Beryl will go into an intensification period becaue of what is happening in the atmosphere. Tornadoes also are growing more and I see another storm coming.

I'm in Corpus Christi..I've been watching diligently since this hit the Yucatan Peninsula. You are the ONLY channel that has called every turn of this storm. My local station and the national tracking system are very vague. Thank You!

West Columbia, here and this Bad Boy is taking the Hurricane Nicholas path of Sept. 15 ,2021 that went straight over my neighborhood , but will be stronger winds and a great deal more rain !

Our local Houston channels are saying the same thing over and over. They still have this storm at a tropical storm and low winds for Houston. Who knows what it’ll do?

real change takes action, not thoughts and prayers. thoughts and prayers are not going to keep people from dying or being hurt, it's not going to fix crippling depression, it's not going to do anything. stop letting the world rot away hoping you don't have to do a thing.
Jesus doesn't ask you to give thoughts and prayers, Jesus wants you to share and help others. Jesus is a fictional character but at least live by his word if you are going to pretend to partake in that fiction.

I just shared this video with him, and he and his girlfriend are filling up their tanks and getting packed. He says things are eerily calm in Houston right now, so I think you are right. I'm about 30 from the state line here in Southwest Louisiana, just 20 miles north of Interstate 10, and I'm prepared just in case this thing shifts a little further east.

I am most concerned about rain in the Trinity River Basin above Lake Livingston.
If we get too much rain, too fast then Lake Livingston's dam could be at serious risk of failure.
Could be? It already is after the rain a few months ago forced an over exertion of the gateway release.
My garden is hoping for rain, haven't had a half inch of rain in 6 weeks.

Matagorda bay here in the eye. Getting ready to bug out. Not liking the nocturnal arrival. The spin up tornadoes worry me more than the 110 mph hurricane winds. I saw what Harvey did in Rockport. Tornado took out our RV and boat. 😢

I'm hoping Rockport doesn't get much. I know that area was hit hard by Harvey. I noticed port Lavaca finally got their pier rebuilt. We fished there 2 days before Harvey.
Still needing this moisture in the midwest! Praying for no damage or loss of life down south, but bring on that rain!

Already seeing heavy rain west of Houston. Cycling storms, rains for 20-30 mins then clear then rains. Going to be a crazy next 48 hrs.
Texas Gulf line covers the same length as five states - Houston is the main city that needs to no are we going to get banged up or no . We are the biggest city

Sitting on the porch in La Porte facing the Gulf as the first outer band is beginning to passover. No wind. Barely a light breeze. No rain yet. Just the sound of some distant thunder.

Here in La Porte, Texas. About to get the first outer band in an hour. I’ll keep you updated.
I lived through Ian, a Cat 4 hurricane, 2 mph short of Cat 5 in Cape Coral hitting us smack head-on and moving ridiculously slow (7-8mph) lasting forever; declared Florida mainland's worst hurricane - period - since records are kept.
Compared to Ian, if Beryl a Cat 1, and moving fast, then it's a picnic.
With Ian even though it didn't quite make it to Cat 5 but, the DURATION (7+hours) did insane amount of damage. The only relief was for about 45 minutes, when the eye went through, but the back wall was even worse than the front wall of the eye.
Yes. it was crazy! I was in Ormund Beach where it dumped all the rain, went out to sea then turned around and came back again! You guys got all the wind.
