I'm pretty sure this is my album of the year. I've only made my way thru the whole thing twice but these are some special songs. The theme of the album seems to be about ministering to people who have been wounded by the church. And helping those people trust God in the midst of deep loss. It's melancholy and beautiful.
When you eagerly await for him to call you home or to burst through the clouds in Glory, songs like this grab your soul and squeeze out true tears of desire! I know he knows best, and has work for me to complete, yet I pray for his hand to scoop me into eternity and set me free from the sin that is always crouching behind the door.
