Construction of Sharda Temple begins at Kashmir’s Teetwal
Teetwal, Mar 29: After the reclamation of this ancient heritage site destroyed in 1947, the work to construct Mata Sharda temple and center close to the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Teetwal belt has begun
The temple located in northern Kashmir’s Kupwara district will be built with a view to reviving the centuries-old pilgrimage to Sharda peeth temple in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) said officials of the Save Sharda Committee (SSC), The temple plan and model is already approved by Sringeri South Mutt and the artwork granite stones are being carved at Bida di, Karnataka to be used in this temple
