    I just started using your Yeast Free Fido protocol on my dog, along with a recommended raw diet, but I have a question: when should I start using Immunity and Protect on her? Her case is pretty severe: elephant, black skin in approximately 50% of her body, chronic ear infections, swollen, itchy paws, etc. I’ve had 2 vets tell me to put her down, so I’m feeling really discouraged, but I KNOW I can do better for her!!

    • @DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM
      @DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Stacy! We're sorry to hear your dog is dealing with that. Protect is a great option to use after you've finished the YFF kit for maintenance. You can start Immunity any time, many medicinal mushrooms actually have anti-fungal properties to help fight Candida yeast!

    Desperate to give my dog relief form all his crazy itching!! Great information here. I did your leaky guy protocol for several months, then switched to the soil based probiotic, Protect I think it's called. I also you your Red Rover consistently (and to raw food). But so far no relief from all the itching. In a food sensitivity test, my dog tested sensitive (=avoid) cow's milk, so I was told to also avoid bovine colostrum. Would you agree? I recently ordered your mushrooms to add. Can I give my dog the quercetin the I take? There are fillers that I wonder about, since my dog is sensitive to practically everything!! Just so desperate to get the itching under control!!!

      Typically dogs with beef or dairy issues are fine with colostrum many customers find those diet sensitivities are no longer when they have been on colostrum - here is a great article on quercetin that we think you will find very helpful!

    Hello, I had been making my english bulldog a raw food diet & giving her all natural remedies for about a year & it didn't seem to work for her allergies & yeasty paws so we turned to Apoquel and a Derm Complete food which helped right away. I do know how bad Apoquel & the food can be and would like to try again naturally. Do you know if I can stop the Apoquel cold turkey & start with these home remedies? Is there a food recipe that you can recommend?I also give her salmon oil & the Protect daily.

      Did you detox the liver? Milk thistle is very good for that. And a friend's dog got rid of the itch by detox the heavy metals, she used also Milk thistle, chlorella and claypowder. The clay is binding the metals so the body can get rid of them. But it took more than a year, she could see the progress because the eyes were very dirty and this got less during the process

    Very imformative video. I too have been treating my 9 lb, 3 year old silky for allergies. He is on immunotherapy, as well as the yeast protocol and pro/prebiotics. I shampoo him with shampoo for yeast. He is 75% better but still bites his genitals. I had him on mushrooms and colostum but took him off because I thought he might have been itchy from them? I will try adding one at a time back and see how he is. Any suggestions on itchy genitals? Also best product for quercetin?

      Colostrum is the critical mother's first milk. But it's not just for babies. Colostrum is a good source of IgA antibodies, which can help strengthen and balance the gut and immune system. Four Leaf Rover Colostrum is also rich in proline-rich-polypeptide (PRP), which has been shown to help eliminate or improve the symptoms of allergies and other autoimmune conditions.

    I wouldn't consider colostrum a 'home remedy'. The colostrum is for the calves, but in animal agriculture, the baby is take away from the mother after one or two days and is not allowed to suck his mother's milk. For these reasons, I would not use it and no other species needs cow's milk or goat milk.

    • @DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM
      @DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We hear your concern ... and we want to assure you the Colostrum that Four Leaf Rover sources is ethically collected! Four Leaf Rover works with a variety of small organic dairy co-ops in New Zealand to ensure a high-quality product. The calves are not taken off of the colostrum support until they are thriving. Dairy farmers work way too hard to care for their calves to put them at risk.

    What about phytosterols for immune balance? Can a dog that has an intolerance for dairy use colostrum?

    • @DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM
      @DogsNaturallyMagazineDNM  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The casein in Bovine Colostrum is the same as in regular milk. But colostrum lowers allergic reactions by regulating the production of TH2 cytokines ... so in many cases, it can block the production of IgG antibodies from the casein. Many dogs with dairy allergies do well on Bovine Colostrum but you might want to check with your vet or monitor your dog if your dog has dairy allergies.

      Quercetin is super safe. It’s just a plant flavonoid. It often comes with vitamin C which protects the quercetin from oxidation and Bromelain (which is derived from pineapples) all these additives work synergistically with Quercetin and are safe. Besides antihistamine properties quercetin is also an anti inflammatory, anti viral and anti cancer. Great support for us humans too!

    I'm really struggling with figuring out how to stop my Maltese from itching and biting herself. I have had to keep a cone on her pretty constantly. I have tried apple cider vinegar with water, baking soda bath, green tea, hemp salve. She eats fresh cooked protein or Dr. Marty's as a topper with fresh ground veggies and herbs. She is on probiotics and colostrum. Although I didn't know that the colostrum should not be mixed into her food???? Maybe I need to separate that into broth? I'm really going crazy trying to help my 13 year old dog. She is no longer on vaccines or flea meds and I have found a few fleas on her so she has had at least 1 bath or even 3 baths this past week to chase after fleas. I used Dawn to kill the fleas and then kibble pet shampoo afterwards. Help?
