Uh, why? Why would anyone think religious faith is a good thing? Religious faith is the bullshit answer you give when you have no reason for your beliefs. I mean is there anything you can NOT believe in based on faith? Can I believe Elvis is "god", lives on Venus and is flying back to Earth in a Mercedes Sl 500 to take me to live with him on the moon? Yes, I can 100% believe that based on "faith" - so doesn't that mean religious faith is nothing but a path to self delusion? Yes, yes it does. You of course won't address any of that - if you do reply you'll almost certainly make it about me. I'm bad, I'm going to this "hell" of yours, I deserve eternal torture for using logic and my brain. Or you'll make more silly, baseless assertions about your "god" and not all the reasons you are also an atheist about 99.9% of all the "god(s)" that have been made up over the centuries. I guess we'll see...

Or maybe in his parish the priest sprinkles the ash on the head? Both sprinkling of ashes and tracing an ahs cross are common practices in the world. In my country we do both and it depends on the tradition in that particular parish.

If you like the premise of the film or have watched and liked the movie I highly suggest that you read the book that covers the true story of the Swedish adventure racing team and Arthur the dog. Or read up on news from the time. It's an amazing story that captured the attention of the world. Don't get me wrong the movie is good and well made but I find it a little sad that it doesn't fully stick to the true story. The movie is more inspired by the true story. Anyhow, after Arthur got the right papers to be able leave Ecuador and he flew to Sweden he had need of alot of medical treatment and had to stay in quarantine for 120 days. After the tremendous journey through Ecuador as well as his health struggles, the flight to Sweden and 120 days in quraantine he eventually got to go to his new family in the north of Sweden. Arthur sadly passed away in 2020 (shortly before filming of the movie were to start as far as I've read) after a malignant tumor was discovered. He was estimated (by Ecuadorians as well as Swedish vets) to have been around 5-7 yeras old when he trekked with the team through Ecuador and thus around 11-13 years old when he passed away.
@lifesbutastumble not really you are only absolved if you are truly repentant in Catholocism. I'm also fairly certain the victim inthat case has forgiven him
