Just rename Reward Cards to Liability Cards so we are all on the same page ;-)

They also mentioned 18X with reductions for vouchers, so it may end up a lot closer to the 7-8X when done. Time will tell

I like it. I just need to save up enough dec to unlock my best card i am going to sell. Get that unlocked and sell it. The i should have enough dec to do the same to at least one card if not more depending on how crazy the market is. Hopefully I can get most of my cards i plan on keeping unlocked or at least all the legendaries, epics and rares. The main thing is getting that first gold foil lengendary unlocked the first day and selling it.

Its just NOT true they would be 1/10th of 1 penny commons if 2x burn value. What you talking about? They would be exactly 1 penny like pel bandit. Obviously that would be bad but your claim is silly.

1ST: I am not against SB cards having a unlock cost.
2ND: It really seems like bait and switch in this sense: we have been getting reward cards this whole time thinking they were a nice asset. but really they are now making us buy our own reward cards.
3RD: if it cost me FULL price to unlock the card. so its equal to other cards on the market. this is bad. because if a epic card costs $1 on the market. I have to unlock my SB card for $1. there is no way and hell that i will sell the card for $1. Which means i will sell the cards at $2 instead. So compared tot he rest of the cards on the market. a SB card will cost me roughly Double the cost of any other Epic card. So the unlock should only be 50% of the card value. in my Opinion.
4TH: i really think my concept of never having a permanent unlock but only allowing a temporary unlock was a far better method. and doesn't make me feel like i have to purchase my own reward cards. Cus i wont. i will buy cheaper ones off the market. sand say f___ the SB cards.
    Prove me wrong. :)

I d davor a Place where you can savely Trade those cards. Like I give you this and you give me that in Return. Will surely do this with certain Guild members.
A cool idea would also be a sb shop where you can excess cards for Point. Those Points then allow purchases of missing sb cards for your Deck. Or would allow to Upgrade you rf to gf Cards.

I think using CP in relation to cost at this point in time is a stupid idea. Why does CP/value matter right now, when we dont use CP as requirements for battling anymore? With Matts logic, CL cards are only 5X cp for packs right now, and these soulbound rewards are "Chaos Legion" rewards, are they not? You get the same 200 CP average per pack, and they only cost 90 cents right now! If you DO choose to do CP per value like he wants, you need to also use the corresponding pack values. Why use the price of Rebellion packs to base the price of Chaos Legion rewards? It just plain doesn't make any sense, IMO.

I feel like people will have spares and just make new accounts for their bot farm :)

I would just unlock all the reward cards. Why get trapped with cards you can't sell later? The cards will sell for whatever the dec you had to put into them as a minimum anyway. I don't find it likely that people will sell cards for less than the dec cost you had to put into them, they have a minimum intrinsic value.

Worrying that SPL are now following mechanics used by Splex and GO. They are planning to implement mechanics developed by a community and team that rose up because of SPL. Pretty much how SPL should of been from the beginning, players before bots. But its too late for them to backtrack.

a single gold foil legendary card is 12500cp. 18x CP means 1 GFL legendary card to list on the market will cost $225 each. and from my understanding we will have to pay this fee to list this card on lands as a worker. (for a reward card I already own). i have never purchased a GFL at this price. and this isnt a max copy. this is a 1 BCX GFL. the 18x is no biggie at the regular common level. but look at GFL's.. i wouldnt even be able to afford this TO list this on the market to sell. 18x is wrong for the top end of this spectrum.

Totally agree with the decision to make unlocking soulbound cards expensive. I wish they weren't unlockable at all. Technically they aren't soulbound but that is a different topic.
At 18x burn value commons are now 90 dec value or 9 cent floor, rares are 360 dec unlock cost or 36 cents floor, epics are 100 dec x 18 so a $1.80 floor and legendaries are 500 dec X 18 so a $9 floor. 9 cent commons, 36 cent rares, $1.80 epics and $9 legendaries seem to be a reasonable floor price value.
I can't remember if vouchers will also be factored in? Another possible voucher sink.
