I think 456 will die to let 222 and her child live. That is the only way he'll be able to prove to the front man that people aren't bad. That people will not always be selfish so as to prove his wrong. What he said to him in the car when talking to that pig head speaker. About what you say regarding Gi-Hun sacrificing, I doubt it will happen but I can see him confronting the Front Man at the end which will be a parallel to him facing against Sang-Woo in the final game. And don’t forget, Gi-Hun still has a promise to keep, to meet/reunite with his daughter and she’s waiting for him, despite all the people he lost which lead him to fell onto the depths of darkness, he still has a glimmer of light and hope that can bring him out of it, his daughter who’s waiting.

Telling Gihun he was sent for a reason doesn’t take any form of clairvoyance- he literally admitted he had already played the games and was trying to save people’s lives. And she's usually seen in more or less the same spot 001 was in during the riot in S1, maybe that tells the guards not to shoot at her, given the case. It's a reach (and I probably missed something, since I haven't rewatched yet), but I can't stop thinking about that option.
