What I feel more struggle is passing. I feel like every pass is intercepted despite dominating the games I can never do that nice play because all passes get intercepted
Take your time, slow down and keep an eye for players that open…. I noticed that even AI makes mistakes when rushing….
@@megustautube1 question,how do u make players attack the ball or try to get it without my consent,they always try to nutmeg themselves when someone passes and the pass is infront of them or jump over the ball,its actually gotten so annoying i really want help i always see peoples player take the ball from just cus idk their trick
Yes I feel the same way and if u are playing legendary mode again the. CPU they get the ball so easily and the push u and rush u and I can’t find those combinations to do that back to the cpu .
I'm in exactly the same boat here. I dominate games but it's so hard to find a decent pass that leads to a goal and whenever I shoot in the box it always gets blocked.
I had this problem for a few games, try using more power in passes!

Straight to the point. For long (' ve been searching a video like this for Fifa 23. You are awesome.
Great video. I have it saved in my playlist and revisit it from time to time as a refresher. I wonder why no one mentions that when not using timed finishing you can power your shot first and then press the trigger button(s) that you feel necessary. It changes up the 'timing' of the shot. When you curve the left analog stick 90 degrees upon hitting the O power up, the animation holds the release of the kick and then you pop it at the end with R1, and it gives a delayed timing throwing off the keeper. I always find classic goal scoring more rewarding than timed finishing, but then again I'm playing the AI mostly.

The trivela is like an unintentional homage to the original FIFA game as this was one of the only ways to score,you just ran in from an angle take a shot and it was pretty much a guaranteed goal!

Wow Tom, thanks for that comprehensive video. No matter how many times you watch clips, it's good to re-hash the fundamentals. Going to try your new tactics video (Dec 15 today) and try to introduce some discipline to my game. I'm Div 5...struggling this year, essentially against Constant Pressure, Haaland, and the Saudi Goggles Hero. Can't tell you how many times I've lost a game where I had the lead. It's such a mental game this year for me...where I can look back after a loss or a win and know, ...I was or wasn't able to stay composed and act on the gameplay...vs my thoughts becoming scattered. FIFA is a never-ending test. Zen-like.

Hey man. If you keep losing when taking the lead, try making a more defensive setup team sheet and switch to it after you score if you feel like your opponent will hit back. Make a super defensive one, defensive, attacking and super attacking team sheet so you can alternate between them depending on the situation
Used the tips you mentioned and won 4-1 in the first match I tried great vid

I usually do a finesse shot in fifa 23 so you hold r1 as well as shoot but you have to hold them both for a perfect amount of time so that it doesn't go over the bar and you don't make yourself look like kepa
I keep making them outside the box without pressing the finesse shot barely

I've always been good at fifa but this vid helped a lot
With the R1 defending I try to create a trap, have my cpu running at him from the left for example and naturally the opposition will want to turn right to get away but that’s where my manual player will be waiting. Even if he sees through that the constant pressure from the cpu will trigger a mistake from the opponent making clear up easier

I think strafe dribbling is L1, while R1 dribbling is called agile dribbling

I’ve been playing FIFA since FIFA 11 came out over 13 years ago, playing almost exclusively career modes and never bothered to try playing online. This year, I picked up FIFA 23 after having every year release and decided to give online a try…suffice to say, I felt like my skills in FIFA were a complete lie lol. Just getting absolutely slaughtered in matches and it was just super frustrating. So thanks for this video, definitely going to be using these tips to improve in online matches.
