Fascinating idea to multiply pocketing , with straight stitching. The project size seems Pretty small, to beginner, the required Stitches along the zipper was difficult to see unless you were Skilled w zipper stitching in a separate Part of video or other Lesson. Of course your music and Video pace made me want To make one immediately. I’m think ing now of setting it up In steps so it will look neat like yours. Many uses, if they look like your finished work. I agree, I might have shortened the zip rather than have it go as far past the edges of the bag, but maybe it's necessary so that the bag can open fully? Not sure

Not only this is a great video, the project is wonderful. I've been waiting for a project like this. I made a bag today. Didn't take long. I added a wristlet loop on the side with a D-ring and a claw hook. It turned out perfect!!! Thank you. This may be the design I use for a Christmas present for a dear friend. My only suggestion is to omit some of the actual stitching parts of the video. If you show the sides that need to be stitched and then show them stitched, I think most people would understand. Update: I am up to the point where I need to add zipper pulls to my zipper. (on order) I think things are going well, but I had to keep watching the video for each step even though I wrote all the steps down.

Listing the fabric and notions in the description box of your videos could be helpful, although you do show them in the videos. I would prefer shorter zipper ends, but can easily adjust the length. I am looking to get reacquainted with sewing after having set it aside for other creative pursuits for years and smaller ideas like this one will be a good place for me to begin.
