When I first started homeschooling I loved having curriculums that had a lot of color and illustrations. But as I am going on my 5th year homeschooling I am realizing that all the color and illustrations, as beautiful as it may seem, can cause distractions and delay. I am thankful EP has at least a few illustrations, but it is not overwhelming. Also as my children are getting older, my eldest being 8 years old it is expected to to dive more into chapter books which rarely have any illustrations so that can also be expected in their school work. I am so excited to start EP this upcoming school year for the first time! I love the lack of fluff, and the straight forward lessons! lessons are short but MEATY! and as another mom mentioned Lee is located in Pennsylvania which is a rigorous state for homeschoolers and if her curriculum and her studies are good enough for her children to pass her states testing, they are certainly good for mines! I live in florida.

We tried the History and that didn’t work for us but my daughter did enjoyed the LA course. Why do we think that it needs to be expensive for it to be good or thorough? I know this is good, PA is not an easy to homeschool state and they require testing! Thank you thank you for sharing because it gives me extra reassurance. How is it working so far after this video? You can do the online program and print the worksheets you need but you can’t print the offline course
