i think i have seen this before OH yea on the first gtfo trailer the og one they did somthing like this and it showed the whole next room ngl this is so dam cool
I adore this game so much, but the more I play it, the more I get frustrated with devs for giving up on it. The game has SO MANY technical flaws and SO MUCH POTENTIAL to be great. Why is it so hard to just sit down, find some community-made lists of bugs and fix them?! Then, sit down again, find the best mods and implement them into the game! Why do I need third-party stuff to properly play a great game that the developers seem almost like they don’t want it to be great?!!
as a new player, so far I'm absolutely in love with the game. But this is interesting to see. I'm only on Rundown 2, so maybe bugs aren't happening yet?
@@josephs.3372Not really, the game works as intended. it's just that people that started on earlier rundowns don't realise that the core gameplay was already realised from the start and always ask for more, it also doesn't help that when the game announced the rundown 8 they also said that development will also stop which is completely fine knowing the game worked, but people overreacted as a way of the devs telling them that they abandoned ship(meanwhile they added old rundowns back and the old guns with tons of fixes). The game itself is very nice, though it has some jank(for me it makes it more fun) and also the game gets exponentially better the last 3 rundowns.
The devs didn't give up on it? They redid all the old rundowns, and added back in all the old guns and hammers. The game was getting steady updates for years. There is tons of content and the game is well balanced. It's not perfect (what is?), but its also quite a lot of output for a small studio. It's meant to be extremely challenging and does not hold your hand, so that success is all the more sweet. I hate to be that guy, but everything is doable with enough time and effort. Everything is fair if you take time to consider the team loadout and the challenges the mission presents, and all the ways you can tackle them. It took my crew a YEAR (off and on attempts) to beat Alt R2E1. Progress was abysmally slow, but every attempt had small progress. It was absolutely brutal, but getting the clear was the most incredible gaming moment I've shared with my friends. Instead of resorting to "its not fair", consider all the various options at your disposal and new things you can try. You can do it.
@@wahidtrynaheghugh260 what the actual f are you mumbling about? Did you copy-paste someones reply from some other comment? Whats up with all rhetorical questions? Dude, there is no single sentence in my comment that suggest that the game is garbage - they worked their ass off on making levels and stuff, but what they DID NOT DO is fixing things which WOULD make this game less frustrating: 1. Completely abismal matchmaking logic: randomizing hosts, rundowns, matching people with 500 ping difference, can't kick inactive players from lobby, cant kick ruinerd from the game, can't see players in lobby, cant see even yourself in lobby after waiting few minutes during finding a match (it kicks you out), cant join certain open lobbies, cant join a game in progress ("umm, is it set on 'bots only'?" - dont even dare going here), and many more bs... 2. Void things and connection issues: no option to see if someone has connection issue because of which you keep fallin (initial drop) endlessly until someone disconnects (hopefully the problematic one), passing through some doors glitches you into the void and back, the fatal void comes at random from which u can get out only if you restart the game, desyncing alarm doors multiplying enemies (it dropped me 2 immortals on 7E1), and many more bs... 3. ANTI COMMON SENSE MECHANICS and other bs: cant drop pack or whatever, cant give pack or whatever, cant ping wherever, cant run while reload, cant run AND reload, voice lines missing for certain characters, not enough command lines, sudden reviving stops, cant pick deployable yellow mines, passing through the red laser doesnt trigger mine but sophisticated sentry does shoot you if the enemy is behind you, many music glitches, waves fighting music starts and stops but there are no waves, always one sleeper stuck somewhere, floating foam, doors that swallow foam, sentry shooting through closed door, from 100hp to 0hp in an instant by the big guy whos animation of hitting didn't even play out, and many other bs... 4. Dont get me start on cheaters. Not modders, but CHEATERS. I understand every game have them, but devs are at least trying to get rid of them with anticheat softwares, bans and stuff. This game has NEITHER devs nor anticheats nor bans. I cant remember many other bugs and glitches ATM but i will come back when i do. Its not about being perfect, its about the effort to make it as clear as possible. For example, DBD game was released ages ago, it still have updates on regular basis. Dota2 as well, many other games - as soon as bug comes, devs fix it, because we freakin paid for a functional game and THAT is what they are giving us and what we should get. It is their obligation to fix these things. I am not asking for content, I am asking to fix the god damn game. So yeah, they pretty much abandoned it. Having a small team as 10 Chambers was when GTFO got released has ZERO argumental value in 2024. I paid 40$ it, and the irony: i paid DBD 5$...
