I’m so pleased these passed your tests and you approve! I still wear the 7002 you redid for me a few years ago.

I completely agree with old Douglas, orange is a very underrated color. I've been wearing my 005 since I got it. I love everything about it, but now you've gone and made me think about finding a classic bracelet like the one you have there. Great vid.

Love the orange with the All brushed bracelet! The creamsicle is my favorite as well, orange is the most underrated color.

Just took delivery of my Blueberry today. So far the signs are favourable.

And Orange( my favourite colour), rhymes with 'door hinge'.

Gave the Blueberry to one of my sons and kept the Mikan, errrr "Creamsickle". Had a Z199 on it almost right away. So much nicer with it though it was one of Uncle Seiko's but still great.

Absolutely. Those repro bracelets are fine, they just didn't get all the final touches that a Seiko bracelet would. They need to be cleaned up and polished, and they'll take some time to wear in and stop turning your wrist black with metal dust. Seiko's bracelets never do that.

@@SpencerKleinVintageWatch Seems like it would be easy to brush the shiny bits on the stock bracelet. I do like the one it comes with it would look good without the shine.

What direction will you be going once you’ve broken away from the existing collection?

I'll still be in Seiko-land, but it's time for new challenges and new hunts. Models I haven't owned before, or other brands or models that I've been thinking about but never went forward on. Also, I want to move forward into more in-depth restoration methods, like media blasting & casework.

like them a lot but I really need a 24 click bezel to locate the hour and half hour, then perfect.

I can't find a case that'll allow that, and also the insert would need to be moved to a new rotating ring that has the notched underside.

I wonder what we should say in Europe as the equivalent of ‘Darn It’?

@8:53 *"Sometime it's tough"* That leads me to suggest you do a video on *how to change a watch strap without professional tools* I have used straight pins, paper clips and even thumbnails and toenails (Ok, I lied there).

I made one a super duper long time ago, and it never occurs to me to cover the same subject in a new video, thinking that the original video was right there. But yes.

Sadly the cyclops' on most Seiko watches are hideous, this one included.
