Good job, and agree to professor Shen, if you can add USA influence to those same countries, that will be interesting and more valuable!

It's Interesting! Immediately, I think it should add some indicators, like 1)if this country joined Belt and Road initiative, 2)if yes, is any actual project building already or ongoing?3)are they No1 trade partners with China? 4)does this country joined Bric, Shanghai Corp or other organizations led by China。。。if yes, they need to add a point, or move up to the first tie as they are influenced by China!

    Tldr
China Influence Index measures global Chinese influence using 99 indicators and ranks 82 countries
Top three most influenced countries: Pakistan, Cambodia, Singapore
Influence rankings vary by domain (e.g., US deeply influenced in academia but not in technology)
China uses strategies like building ideology and creating economic dependence to exert influence
Significant CCP presence in German academia, domestic politics, and economy (313 organizations connected to CCP)
Varying levels of Chinese influence in South America, with foreign policy being a key area of focus
Local context and regional expertise crucial for interpreting data and understanding China's objectives
Increased Chinese engagement in South Caucasus and Central Asia due to geopolitical events

Frankly, sounds like the panelists are describing the corrosive effects of USA neo-colonialism...except for debt ownership. USA is the ultimate debtor nation.

Frankly speaking influence other countries through trade is far more better than influence via guns and killing...how hypocratic these people are...

Yellow Peril rhetoric is part and parcel of Neocon think tanks.

Perhaps they are viewing the issue from a 'us vs them' perspective and not from a morals standpoint.
