He was invited onstage with no rehearsal at all . Just walked up like a boss ! You can see the bands faces . They are in disbelief. Chris so smooth the man slides up hillllll
The crowd selected the song from a list that "The Shadowboxers" could play. Chris just went with it. Not a song many would attempt without even a rehearsal.

Next to his rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl when he made every American in attendance and watching around the world shed tears this is his best performance yet. I always get goosebumps when the Anthem is sung but honestly beside when it was sung the day I graduated Marine Corps bootcamp it has never caused tears until Chris. I haven't checked yet but if you haven't reacted to that yet I'd say you gotta do it brother!!!

Chris Stapleton has such an incredible voice and he definitely did this song justice. He is very talented and very soulful. He makes you feel the lyrics. He is by far one of the best covers of this song I have ever heard. There's another guy who did an incredible cover as well. Check out It's a Man's Man's Man's World cover by Joshua Ledet. I would love to see your reaction and get your opinion on his take of the song. His rasp and range is incredible as well. Chris and Joshua to me have an amazing voice and put alot of emotion into the song.
I SEEN THIS SONG IN YOUR LIST AND GOT CHILLS BEFORE I EVEN CLICKED ON IT!!! James dropped this in 1966 and there's been 10 or so attempted covers emphasis on attempted in my opinion non had any business attempting to cover this song but even James is looking down watching this n saying YEAH, UH!
