  • Welcome to our latest video "THEY SAID WE COULDN'T DO IT! | 4 Year Debt Free Off-Grid On Our Desert Homestead"! We're thrilled to share our journey of building an off-grid homestead from scratch in the heart of the desert. Throughout the past four years, we have been living debt-free and self-sufficiently, proving all naysayers wrong. In this video, we reveal our secrets on how we created a sustainable lifestyle, maintain an off-grid water system, and generate solar power in challenging desert conditions. Join us and discover how we achieved this incredible feat of embracing off-grid living, all while remaining completely debt-free. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you're inspired by our debt-free, off-grid homesteading journey. #OffGridLiving #DebtFree #Homesteading #DesertHomestead #SustainableLiving

    So awesome you guys...it is quite the commitment to be out here off grid and building literally from the ground up! Huge respect for what you have gotten done in four years and your place is beautiful :) The 3D printer is such a smart addition! Yep, as we have finished up our chicken coop, our house plans have gotten smaller and smaller. Smaller is good when it comes to hyperadobe earthbag construction...it's a huge amount of work. Well done! Love seeing your updates and all the best to you for 2024!!!

    The most valuable thing you have in your life is your time and energy, as both are limited. The People and things you give your time and energy to, will define your existence. Enjoy your journey, the future looks bright! 🔆 a fellow offgrider wishing you well.

    Buetiful place to be ! I wonder if there maybe any gold in near by little drainages to process the dirt with a dry method for more income and potentially make jewelry or sell😊

      There is gold in the area for sure. We had a buddy pan the wash and found a fleck or two, but not enough to really make it worth the time

    Add a (roofing material) table on posts to catch more rain water,, just a roof on posts at a height to enable the water to drain to a holding tank of sorts...

    Thanks for the update video it's been fun watching the progress. It's cool to see what can be made with items that usually end up in the landfill. I find helpful things I can borrow from your adventures and can inspire me to use at my place. Planting things that give back, living more frugal enjoying nature. Maybe I could visit sometime lend a hand or two. Not too far away near the AZ Trail Oracle. Good luck with 2024 positive thoughts, uplift consciousness.

    This video just popped up in my feed. Will follow along for sure. Were looking for land in Mojave or Yavapai county. Will have to check out your past videos. Interested to see something on doing septic up that way or the septic Barrel system that seems to be ok in some south eastern AZ counties. Cheers~

    Cool sculpture. Good work with tiny and earthbag homes. So, as homesteaders and living off the land, why burn wood (pallets) that could be used toward building more tiny houses? Re-use, upcycle, re-purpose, yes?

    • @TerraformTogether
      @TerraformTogether  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The pallet burning was a little hard for me personally. But that was the college tradition, not my own call haha.

    Hmmmm, DON’T pay those annually due property taxes?, & you’ll very SOON find out who really owns “your” land & homestead.
    Spoiler: it’s NOT you
    &? It’s NOT “debt-free” either.
    🤦‍♂️.
