The getting stuck in the silage pit was the most fs thing in the whole series so far. I could feel the frustration. 😂
The rodeo music throughout the sileage timelapse was hands down some of the best farm sim content I've ever consumed hahahhaa. time to lose the pit and save for a bailer wrapper lol
If that wasn't motivation to save up for a wrapper I don't what is hahaha
@aeronaut8088 there has never been a single time where i did bulk silage in any farm sim and thought "now that was a smooth experience" baler or no silage
Haha that silage pit was frustrating at the time, but I couldn't help but laugh while editing that bit 😂
Don’t forget to plow your fields together - great ep
Just my thoughts but it isnt my ass on the line lol. 10% of each months earnings to the loan, always pay yourself first. Buy lot 30 and put it grass as you already have everything you need for silage and keep a stack of cash on hand for when a good deal comes up. Love what you got going on, very fun to watch.
Good advice!
Another great video, haven't been leaving many comments but this is genuinely one of the best fs25 series i've seen, keep up the good work!
I'm glad you're enjoying it, thanks for the support!
Producing great content! Loving your honesty with bugs, confusions and mistakes, as well as successes. Good to see you getting ahead
Glad you're enjoying it!
Loving the series. Randomly found you but I’m a subscriber now! Can’t wait to see how far you go. Great dedication and editing work. Appreciate you and keep it up!!
Thanks for the sub and the feedback, glad you're enjoying the series!
Gotta love chaff phasing through concrete very realistic gameplay lol
I would suggest a combine because if you are going to do contracts, having a combine will open more avenues for you. Also when you take the grain to the designated location, you get paid extra for the extra grain you get (which has been nerfed compared to FS22). You could also seed one field in a cereal crop while still having a field of grass. If you bought that other field, you would still only be able to fill the bunker so much and would have to resort to selling one field as grass or hay anyways.
Thanks for the feedback! I didn't realize you could get extra money selling the products from harvesting contacts, that's good to know!
Buy combine, 30, and 31 to harvest crop and turn 21 into a homestead and animal farm later on!
Thanks for the input! I think those two fields will be my next land purchases, but I've still got my eye on that land beside the grain mill where I've been filling my water tank for my future homestead site (can't remember the field number off the top of my head)
This was definitely a great episode, I physically laughed out loud watching the silage bunker part. Also, it feels good to see all of the pieces you have put in coming together for that payout. The snowball has started!
I was laughing the whole time I was editing that part lol! Definitely feels like things are starting to come together though, getting excited for future progress!
Really enjoying this series! Thanks for teaching me so much about the game.
Glad you're enjoying it and that you learned something from it!
I found when cleaning up the ends of the sileage pit, scoop it up and dump it over the side so you dont drive on it. also a 2-3 foot buffer of cleaned up space at end helps.
Thanks for the tip!
That was hilarious 😂. Do one more run with the bunker and switch to bales more expensive up front but easier in the long run.
Although the bucket will come in handy later on in loading your trailer with silage. You should have bought that adjustable red blade to push back and level the chaff. Push it back further than you would think, as it will spread, possibly out of the bunker again.
If you want to fill you trailer quicker then perhaps a conveyor belt? The small 'ramp'like one is a feeder belt, it picks up from the floor. You will also need the bigger adjustable one. This provides height and reach. Yes, you can use the forager, but asyou found out, it's hard work, not really realistic and it damages your equipment The pickup can't handle the lumps and bumps within a silage bunker.
There should be NOTHING coming out the sides. Report it! The sides should be clean.
Thanks for the advice! I will look at getting a conveyor setup!
great episode as always :) I was wondering why you haven't fast forwarded until the next day so you would get more for your products, since all of them were on an upward trend and thus valuable a bit more in the next month? I reckon you'd have gotten 40k+ or something there :)
I'd buy the biggest affordable field and turn it to grass for now. Btw you can sleep at your grandpa place 😜
Thanks for the advice! I know I can sleep at Walters place, it just takes so long to drive there and back it's almost faster to just speed up time instead. I did install the sleep at will mod though so I can just sleep in my greenhouse
For goals, how about owning all the productions on the map and enough fields with equipment to supply those productions? I know it kinda grand but if you own basically everything on the map then this is definitely can be considered "Rich". Also it would be really nice to see you use different types of equipment.
I will hopefully be getting some different equipment soon!
Conveyer belt FTW
Take that chance village from your silage bunker and dump it in over the side so that way you're not dragging it back out
Gave a thumbs up in the first minute, cause I’m that sure
Thanks for the support!
What happens in the silage pit stays in the silage pit 😂😂
😂
35:28 Traktor is like🤷♂️🤷♂️😟😩
A sawmill also produces wood waste, which can generate additional income.
I think that might only be true for the big sawmill?
I might be missing something but I haven't seen any waste coming out of this small one yet...
@syrupgames you have to take a trolley near to the sawmill, there is one option will popup for fill the trolley of wood cheap.
Hmmm... I just tried that and it doesn't seem to work... I'm pretty sure only the bigger sawmills produce wood chips. If you go to the build menu you can look at the building outputs, and it does show wood chips as a product for the big ones, but not the small one
I'd buy field 27 and convert the North panhandle part to farm yard, and merge the lower part with the other 3 fields.
Thanks for the feedback!
with your cash stack i definitely think you should invest it into something that brings in steady income, maybe more productions or buy a piece of land and put animals on it, cause u can feed them with your 2 grass fields. i don't think the combine is worth buying until early next year, so u can use it to do harvesting contracts. just my 2 hay pennies though.
Thanks for the advice!
Hey buddy quick question are you on console or pc?... great episode im new to your channel
I'm on PC but I mostly use an Xbox controller. Thanks for the support!
Awesome in those cases where you get yourself stuck stop recording and use superstrength, noone will care I assume but makes life easier
While Packing the silage it would make a smoother finish if you would get dual wheels on at least the back of your tractor.
That's not a bad idea, I might have to give that a try!
Dont rush too much into equipment just yet. Expand your silage field. You will out grow that seeder in no time at all, that was a bad purchase. You will use it once or twice for contracts and get aggravated with the size in no time. Silage is king to start with, it allows you to start a dairy pasture and you'll be able to feed your livestock. Theres no need to try to jump to crops just yet.
Chickens arent a good start because chicken feed is really expensive and you dont have the crops nor the equipment to start. You should start with cows since they're still cheap and you have the resources for feed. Plus you can still sell some silage to rake in money. I would buy the large piece of land up north. Go through another year saving up money to buy the big dairy pasture and customize as large as you financially can and buy cows by the end of the next year. You dont want to spread your money out on trying to achieve too much variety until you have a good dairy system going.
Thanks for the advice! You may be right about the seeder, but I'm a sucker for a deal haha... Probably won't be using it too much for contracts, but it should help me get into growing my own crops a little cheaper. I definitely want to get into cows too, just seems like a pretty big investment that will take a long time to pay off. I think I am going to skip the combine for now though and focus on expanding the silage operation...
❤
I say get a harvester. The amount of contracts that you could do would pay for itself
Thanks for the suggestion!
If you buy some new land try to get one whit some space for a barn or a cabin to sleep, you can't still be living in a ditch
Haha I just need a bed in one of my greenhouses 😉 Definitely looking at getting a proper house sometime soon though
Buy a combine and do contracts with you you will make your money back faster
When your mowing for a contract will it let you pull the trailer behind you to pick up the grass since you don't have that "this field isn't yours" message?
No, I actually tried that in a previous episode and I couldn't pick up the grass unfortunately
No but you can steal bales if you put them somewhere that changes the state of the bale back to the raw product like a TMR mixer
The silage pit scene 😂😂😂!!
Yeah I will never use a silage pit again. EVERY TIME that's how it goes for me. I filled it twice and sold it the second time. I'd rather spend the money to bale
Haha yeah I might just have to switch to baling
As I see but it is not pointed in rules you do not use ai workers or you will when get another tractor or harvester?
Not against the rules, but I don't want to use AI too much for contracts... As I expand though I will definitely have to make more use of AI workers
If u go backwards to the silage.. 😅 u wouldn't ever get stuck
❤❤❤
I think you can do Hoeing contracts with the weeder
Yes, I just discovered that! Although annoying, it appears you can't do weeding contracts with a hoe for some reason
@ well as you have a weeder, you should be ok right?
@bigbadphil2001 oh for sure, was just hoping to get that hoe soon to make weeding contracts faster, but apparently that doesn't work... Might just have to get a bigger weeder instead
It’s not at all the best use of your money, but I feel like you’re not truly out of “rags” until you have a house to sleep at, even one of the super cheap little trailer ones.
Yes, starting a proper homestead and getting a house is definitely high on the priority list!
Sawmil deki üretimi en fazla kazanç getirecek olarak tek bir üretime sabitlersen daha hızlı üretir
I've actually tested the small sawmill in a different save, and that is not true. Each item will produce at the same speed whether its a single production or all three at once. The only difference is the 3x production uses wood faster!
Buy a land and make a goat farm
In last 5 minutes
Yeah count: 14
Haha, yeah 😉
You should buy a bigger wagoon and a faster tractor
Why didnt you let the lettace gather up for another month at least. Would have been alot more profitable
I know it doesn't make the best content, but maybe pay off the loan?
