Quite an interesting interview. WBC really liked Ray and vise versa…I think he lost to Marvin Hagler in 87 and Thomas Hearns in 89. Ray was a shrewd sort, very astute and aware of his ability to capitalize. BUT… SRL was something else in that ring in his prime. One of the best fighters of all time. I’m happy he’s still around to give these sorts of interviews. I’m happy this showed up on my feed. Great job by this interviewer… Love when he said ‘I just want to see the best fight the best’ … Such an easy thing to say, but in this sport it takes sooooooo long to happen.
