    When I was a kid in Brooklyn in the 70's we use to be outside all day playing stick ball,hand ball,stoop ball ,ringalivio .These days kids are on there dam phones,ipads,computers all day getting no exercise. It's Soooo sad to see.I'm 62yrs young and workout 5 days a week,off days i'm walking hiking,elyptical workout.I'm just trying to live as long a mobile life as I can.

    Giggling talking about video games. I'm a personal trainer, and my husband is a principal art director for EA. I always say he makes them unhealthy, and I go in and fix them! 😂

    I sometimes eat candies pre workout, particularly if it’s late at night and I don’t want to load up on caffeine. Probably not the smartest trade off in the world, but at least I’m keeping my sleep consistent lol

    I fast during holidays.
    Fasting helps counter the increase calories and I just prioritize protein and try to limit sweets.

    For the melatonin patch incident, I wouldn't worry about if I could get enough money out of the teachers after suing them. The schools would be suing me for assault because those teachers wouldn't be walking or talking straight after I was done with them.

    High levels of insulin will only cause more glucose to be driven into your cells for storage. It does take some amino acids along with it but it prevents the body from using glycogen for energy- which means fat storage. It actually hinders muscle growth. Insulin on its own will not cause protein synthesis even with high concentrations of amino acids in the blood. Sal is correct - you must combine insulin with steroids and growth hormone to increase muscle mass and the advantage it gives you over just steroids alone is marginal and not worth the risk or cost.

      ​@@Allthegains_withoutthePains wrong. When you don't eat (fast) your body doesn't break down muscle for fuel. It converts stored fats and turns them into ketones. Even prolonged fast as long as there is some resistance training during your fast prevents muscle loss to any significant degree. Imagine our ancestors running around the plains chasing buffalo for weeks with no food and their body starts to break down and become weak because they didn't eat. We wouldn't be here as a human species if that was the case
