I feel like an idiot... I did the math based on a couple different three way races, came up with a min/max voter of 9... Then looked in description where it say a panel of 9... Then see these comments... 😅
Matt ryan might be the only human on planet earth who's hero was tim couch
I still remember that QB draft class vividly. Was supposed to be super strong when most of em never made it. Culpepper and McNabb I would say had successfull careers while cade Mcnown, akili Smith, tim couch, sean king etc not so much.
The fact that he's the greatest nfl player to ever wear #2 is ridiculous. Ryan had a couple good seasons but overall is trash
@@issajoke2437 I agree but there aren't a lot of 2s to pick from. He kinda got it by default
Jim Brown was so great that he rushed for over 1,500 yards in 3 seasons each and 1 season with over 1,860yrds and what people forget is in his 4 first seasons, it was only a 12 game season and only a 14 game regular season when he played his last 4. And despite the league expansion to 16 regular season games. Brown is still the first and one of the only running backs to have a 100+ rushing TD career. Oh, just to put a topping on his 9 year career, he never MISSED a single game. And the cherry on top, he recieved for 2,500yrds and 20 touchdowns.
Calvin Johnson: single season record holder & arguably one of the best receivers to play the game.
Not even on the list.
He's got a tough number. Jay Cutler was a nominee, but not Calvin Johnson
the 3 for 81 shouldve been TO, night train lane, and calvin johnson but i’d say terrell was better
@@bradengugliuzza2298 Tim Brown played for like 20 years and is very high on all the receiving leaderboards. Calvin is a solid choice there, but I understand why Tim Brown is there
Regiane Candido what about Jerry Rice? He is the best that’s right. But CJ isn’t even on the list.
These percentages are a joke...
Out of 9 people. Really. If this was a real vote at least someone would vote julio
7 is bs especially with 0% amd 20 ed reed is better while barry is more humble
0% no love for Micheal Vick, Eli Manning, Julio Jones ☹️ ouch!
Well, they just weren’t better then the opponents. For example, Julio vs Larry. LOL
When Ed Reed tells you that he would give up his HOF spot, that is true respect. All respect to Steve Atwater.
Calvin Johnson wasn’t even mention for the best player wearing 81
He had some tough competition I do think he was better than Tim Brown
By the way, Len Dawson said the Chiefs could Un-Retire the number 16 so that Joe Montana could wear it. But Joe said it’s alright, I’ll just wear 19. Much respect.
IronyAml Len Dawson didnt say he could wear it He refused t let Joe wear it
From What I read I don’t know if I read it right but Len didn’t want them to but the team still offered
78: Bruce Smith (all time sack leader)
88: Alan Page (first of only 2 defensive players to be league MVP)
Those numbers shocked me.
Anthony Munoz is the best offensive lineman ever and Bruce smith isn’t the best d lineman. Pretty simple.
@@KaiDaGoat yeah I know but I was confused whether he was de or olb. Reggie white is best d line then
If it wasnt for polamalu, #1 wouldve been pat mcafee...
"He probably would've jumped over the lineman, pick me up, and take me to the endzone"
“According to our panel” of 9 people...? That’s kind of important information
Better than the pro bowl vote where it's just a popularity contest.
Chris Anderson yo mama said “...it was just a handful” and he answered “if you do the math it’s 9”
Thank you for simply displaying that the NFL did indeed exist WAY before 1980. So many creators on TH-cam seem to miss that fact.
"Gary Anderson - 0%"
That's tough
You know what else is tough that kick he missed in the nfc championship that would of sent to the Vikings to the Super Bowl
It’s funny how they said Steve Atwater wasn’t in the hall of fame but literally a week after this video was posted he was elected to the hall of fame
I kinda feel like vinatieri should be wayyyy more than 0% considering he is leading scorerr in nfl
@Daniel Coronado your an idiot he is a 4 time superbowl champions 2 of which my patriots won because of him he is also the all time scorer in nfl history he is the greatest kicker in nfl history
Daniel Coronado well how about I say it for you, Vinatieri is the greatest kicker of all time.
@@vroomvroomfam309 that's gonna be our justin tucker when he retires.
I grew up a 49ers fan but I got to point out the absolute humbleness of that last fact on #20. Man he was so entertaining to watch. There will never be another Barry Sanders. I do have to question 73. That should at least be a tie because John Hannah may have been on a bad team but he is arguably the best lineman to ever play the game.
Ed Reed only getting 11% is pretty sad
well there was only 9 people voting so one person voted for him (1/9 = 11%)
Anish R yea I understand I just wish he would’ve been closer to 30% that would’ve done him justice imo
WHO... If I may ask... TF VOTED?!?!
@@suziewheeler6530 they only asked nine people i think (all the % are either 11% (1/9), 56% (5/9) etc.))
How to qualify as a “deserving winner” according to this comments section:
1. Be decent in the 2000’s
2. That’s it
Bro I was fully expecting Pat Mcafee to be best #1 and they disrespect so much.
8:20 Emmitt was still the best choice for #22, but Paul Krause holds an NFL record that will never be broken and is a better option than Haynes.
#22 Mike Haynes: 46 interceptions, 688 yards, 2TD, 12 Fumble recoveries
#22 Paul Krause: 81 interceptions (NFL record) , 1185 yards, 3TD, 19 Fumble recoveries
0:49
Taysom Hill : I can play at multiple positions
Bronko Nagurski : Hold my cleats
If polamalu isn’t 43 imma freak.
Damn straight :)
Big Ben wasn’t even in on the conversation fornumber 7. Top ten all time in every single passing category all time multiple super bowl winner absolutely ridiculous he got left out.
When Vinatieri got 0 percent
Thats fucked up, the number he wares is the amount of rings he has, more than Favre.

Congrats to Steve Atwater and Troy Polamalu, both of whom made the Hall of Fame this year, so you can add that to their credentials. And yes, Ken Houston was always in!
Pat McAfee is still SO traumatized by Polamalu that if he ever has kids he won't allow them to be born via a *C-Section*
Cody Robbins Bc Larry Fitzgerald will always be better than Julio Larry Fitzgerald has more tackles than dropped passes
Bruce Smith not being at 78 is so bad, most career sacks in the history of the league
Zack Degnan that completely discredits this list. Anthony Munoz was awesome but watch him against Smith. Smith all day
Anthony Munoz was better bro💀😭Bruce Smith is one of the all time greats but Anthony Munoz is the GOAT lineman and is a top 15 player ever. This makes sense honestly bro
I feel like you can’t talk about Larry Fitzgerald without mentioning how absolutely efficient he was at catching the ball. He also owns a weird stat line that I absolutely love mentioning lol

Hard for Campbell having to go up against the greatest football player of all time.
@@PatSnoop Good thing this conversation wasn't talking about Jim Brown. Easy for a fullback to look good when playing in an offense that potent in an era before substantial integration and while weighing at much as some of the OL. Ol' Jim wouldn't have done that playing for the Phoenix Cardinals in the 1980s.
The only RB more overrated than Jim in the annals of history might be Barry Sanders. Both were good but I would take a few RBs before them in a heartbeat.
"Philip Rivers took number 17 because that is the number of kids he wants to have."

One question scientists will never answer
Jay Cutler on this list
Also How did Kurt Warner get 0%????
Another good candidate for 99 would have been Jerome Brown. Drafted by the Eagles from the University of Miami (FL), he was a force to be reckoned with and made the Pro Bowl two years in a row. Sadly, he and his nephew were killed in a car accident before the 1992 season. May they rest in peace.

Not even so much as an honorable mention for Michael Irvin🤷🏾♂️😱
I'm surprised Cris Carter #80 wasn't on the graphic. Happy for Steve Largent though as a Seahawks fan. Steve Largent even gave his blessings to Jerry Rice to wear #80 in his short stint as a Seahawk. He actually came to my high school back in the early 90s and got to shake his hand. He was probably the first Seahawk player to make a big name in the league. One of the greatest WRs of all time.
No way Steve Young ( 8 ) is over Troy Aikman. Aikman has the Rings to prove it.
And Tony Gonzalez ( 88 ) over Drew Pearson, Lynn Swann and Dez Bryant ?
