Just tried plugging directly into wall socket rather than power strip and it worked. Thanks so much!

I don’t believe the unplug the TV and keep power button pressed for 30 seconds worked !! Unbelievable ! My TV LG OLED C1 was a day old and I was super stressed that I had white lines . Thank you so much !

Thank you so much! I unplugged my TV for a minute, held down the power button for 30 seconds and unplugged the HDMI cord that was unneeded. And the vertical lines went away. I'm glad I stumbled upon your helpful video.

Thanks for the tip..it worked! I was sure I had to buy a new TV but I just had to unplug it from the power strip and into the wall. Thanks again!

Thank you for posting this! For my TV, the Pixel Clean Up setting worked the best.

I did everything you said and it actually made it worse 😒What's hilarious is that Screen Self-diagnosis only shows you a test image and asks if it is displayed correctly. If you say no, it just tells you to contact LG Support Center. Wow.

I am having this issue. However I don't think I unplugged my TV for long enough. I do have my soundbar like on a book right next to my TV. My coworker said this could be causing my issue from the magnets in the soundbar? Anyone had any experience with that being a possible issue?

Brand new tv, got a bunch of soft lines like the right photo showed. All the steps didn’t work. (Except opening up the tv not gonna try that on a new tv.)

Did you get it fixed? I'm having the same issue on a brand new tv

    • @MrFloof_

@@hidayestevez5480 I retried the steps, pixel clean up I think the option is called on my Oled fixed it. Shuts your tv off for an hour fixing every pixel then turns back on. In the video he mentions self diagnosis but that just asked if I could see the pictures. That was it. So I looked at all the Oled care options and found that.

if you have an LG and can still get your moey back I would suggest doing to ASAMFP
The only real solution is to stay as far away from this korean trash as possible and just buy a Sony and NEVER buy an OLED EVER
Korean shit is even worse than Chinese shit, the QA is piss poor and their products are all garbage
My 55" C1 OLED had a bad a bad panel with a bright white vertical line all the way down the panel 1/4 of the way in from the left edge right out of the box, LG sent a tech out to repair it they had to replace the whole panel and that panel was bad too and then it was replaced again and again the panel went bad not even 300 hours of use later with banding down the left side on on the left edge and horizontal bands at the tope and bottom.
now the TV is out of warranty and they want $400 for an extened warranty and you still have rto pay $100 for a service call , so another $500 to for them to come and replace the panel for a 4th time which will probably be bad also and since there is no warranty on the new panel if it's bad again the 5th panel will cost anoher $100 for another service call
i just threw it away rather than sink any more money into this fucking worthless piece of shit
I paid $1100 and had to throw the TV away after not even 500 hours of use, most of which was use with a huge fucking vetical line down the screen, biggest waste of money ever.
I will NEVR buy another LG prodct and I will NEVER buy another OLED EVER!
als their WEB OS is shit too and the CED would never work with my Yamaha AVR, 1 time so 20 it would actuall work to turn the AVR, Alexa is a whole other story that never worked at all.
LG is the worst qualtiy garbage on the market, their QA is pure shit and their software QA is even worse,

Easiest is to change the cable and reset the TV like he said. I would rather fix mine in 5 minutes than be $300+ lighter in my wallet.
