Small correction, Nahdar Vebb was cut down by foolishly attempting to fight Grievous (not Savage) head on after the Jedi Council sent a team into his lair and Kit Fisto was forced to watch it unfold on the camera's after Grievous seperated them with defensive traps and had already picked off the clone squad with them, which is what triggered Nahdar Vebb's reckless anger and lead to him attacking Grievous by himself.
Great Supertroopers reference! Loved the releases, disappointed the Bounty Hunters are a box of Secondaries though, but keen to run them! Lasan is Zeb's Homeworld, Lasat is his race.
Looking at the wording, I wonder if it's less future proofing and more for ease of translation, since they do translate these cards into multiple languages.
Some fantastic units, I'm looking forward to the bounty hunters pack, interesting that it's a kinda "booster" box rather than a unit box... More mandos is never a bad thing either, especially with Din Djarin coming.
I think part of the reason they have the generic text for abilities is because they copy and paste the ability text and just rename the ability. Many people are lazy about rewriting things
thanks for a great overview!! everytime I watch one of your Shatterpoint videos it makes me want to buy into and learn how to play. all your videos are always great, thank you!!
My gaming store went all in on Shatterpoint because according to the owner, Legion was "dead". I rarely see anyone playing Shatterpoint in the store, however I do see people playing Legion.
They were Imperial for a while before the game though. That's what they're going for here. I can totally see the "Deserter" version of Iden Versio coming out as Rebel in the future someday also.
Game has been out for just shy of 10 months, not over a year. And am I the only one who isn't bothered in the slightest by the "One character in this unit" language?
Buddy, your constant complaining about the future-proofed, precise wording of the "this unit" abilities really detracts from the potential enjoyment of your Shatterpoint videos. It's a *good* thing that they do this. It's consistent, it's precise, and it opens up options for the future. Would you rather they have to reprint all the cards (or make a convoluted rule that could be misinterpreted when applied across 100+ cards) when they add the option to add characters to units? The fussing over it really does come across as whining.
He’s right though. Shatterpoint cards are miserable to read, and no other game they produce has this problem. I understand the need to future-proof things and keep misinterpretations to a minimum, but they absolutely could have come up with some better language to do so.
I’d agree. I enjoy all Crabbok content, but the complaining was odd. Maybe say it once and don’t mention it every time? I agree some of the abilities are wordy, but once you see them in action they are very intuitive.

Doh! You're right! Good catch!

That makes sense! Thanks!
Lots of cool stuff coming
Very cool future for Shatterpoint. Cant wait ti play the Ghost crew.
Can't wait to see the ghost crew painted
It's nice to finally get a Mando primary. We've desperately needed one
Just love the models they come up with for this game!

10:58 “we got Kanan blown up here” 😢 don’t remind us
Oh man….
Some fantastic units, I'm looking forward to the bounty hunters pack, interesting that it's a kinda "booster" box rather than a unit box... More mandos is never a bad thing either, especially with Din Djarin coming.
Wisdom of the Council. I will freak out if they give us an option for the Padawan to look like Sha-Gi from the Clone Wars XD

Hope we get some Episode 1 characters like Darth Maul, Qui Gon, and Padawan Obi Wan.
thanks for a great overview!!

100% agree… love Shatterpoint but not a fan of some of the wording especially “a character” 😅
I have not seen a single person play shatterpoint at my local store since the games release
Same, I haven’t heard of anyone playing but the models are amazing. They should have stuck with just putting them in legion
It’s like warhammer. Buy and paint but don’t play the game.

@@stephenspangler1575 we have had weekly Armada players in more recently than weekly shatterpoint games
Got a nice small but growing community of players in Norwich, UK
Its kinda hilarious that they keep pushing inferno as being imperial when in game they joined the rebels after like 3 missions
They were Imperial for a while before the game though. That's what they're going for here. I can totally see the "Deserter" version of Iden Versio coming out as Rebel in the future someday also.
Does anyone play Shatterpoint? My local game store had a table full of Shatterpoint stuff all marked 50% off.

If this unit gets your rant, an allied character in this unit understand you! :)
Wording is horrible to read!
